"The room was clean and beautiful, and felt very new. The staff was pleasant. I am sensitive to noise, the front desk manager met my concern promptly and moved us to a quiet room at the end of the corridor. I wish we would’ve come earlier in the month, to have breakfast on the deck or sit on the chairs in front of the pool, or have time to do smores in the evening at the waterside. Also most hotel pools leave a foggy mess on the windows. The pool was warm without the fog. We went off season, likley there are more restaurant and breakfast choices on the menu during main season. I’d also suggest to have robes for the pool in the room, as there is no changing or shower at the pool. I was a bit surprised about a 50$ deposit at our arrival, I guess theft is a real concern here. "

"I had a wonderful stay, Buck & Clea are the perfect hosts, & your stay is important to them. The home is comfortable, warm & full of character, there's plenty of history there. You're made to feel welcome from the moment you step into Whiteface Farm. The breakfasts are amazing, beautiful & home cooked. Loved the character of the place & lots of beautiful walks in the area too. So if you want to relax at Whiteface Farm you can, or go out walking/scenic drives you can as the area is stunningly beautiful! Highly recommend staying with Huck & Clea, beautiful people, with big hearts. "

"Clean renovated room, amazing stuff - very friendly, made us feel very welcome and comfortable, we had great stay, we enjoyed our stay a lot , and the bond fire in the evening while roasting marshmallows! "

"We found the cabin to be clean and the beds comfortable. The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. A couple of improvements that we would suggest: Better outdoor lighting. What is there is adequate but could be improved. Maybe provide signage to let folks know where to park? We were there in dark, rainy conditions and had difficulty figuring out what they meant by "parking is across the way by the trees". Which trees? And 2 reading lamps by the beds would be nice. That said we would have no problem staying there again or recommending this property to anyone traveling in the area."
