"We had a lakeview king room and it was terrible in that is was so musty, damp and smelly! I honestly couldn't stand being in it. The carpet needs to be replaced! I made sure to wear my flip flops the entire time. It was gross. The bathroom floor did not seem clean either. I wouldn't be surprised if they took up that carpet and found mold. I did not sleep well with the mustiness in the room. We spent $737 for two nights in a crappy room. That's a lot of money. Was very disappointed with the room....

"This place certainly has potential! The grounds are beautiful ~ but the rooms are in desperate need of a refresh and renovation!! The smell of mold and mildew was so strong we actually packed up the car and left at 10pm not even staying the night, driving back to Atlanta. Very old and needs to be deep cleaned including the drapes. Cracks and holes in the walls. Front staff was very nice!! The

The property is very beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. The staff is very helpful and nice. This is our second time hete but our first time to stay. The room was very comfortable and large. It was so nice to be able to have 2 large comfy chairs in the king size room. The bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to have 2 rocking chairs and a small table to enjoy the view.
The only 2 recommendations would to have a small table in between the 2...

The unit we stayed in had a kitchen that met all of our needs. One thing we didn’t think about was oil and spices for cooking. But being so close to town the IGA met our needs. Overall a wonderful trip and we look forward to next time."
