"The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the kitchen staff who prepared breakfast every morning. They were the BEST at keeping it clean and stocked from beginning to end. The hot breakfast was a great start to each day. The lounging area and fireplace are cozy and comfortable. We used the pool and jacuzzi also which were clean and well-maintained. It is the cleanest jacuzzi we've ever experienced and it didn't smell of chemicals. They empty and clean it often. Incredible! The rooms were also kept clean and yet we never saw the housekeeping staff do it. We called them our Room Fairies and they did a wonderful job. The location is perfect. We ate at the Penn Wells Hotel and highly recommend it! The food quality was excellent and surprisingly reasonably-priced and the historic atmosphere is an experience I'm glad we didn't miss. We can't wait to return!"

"This was such a great place to stay for our visit to the PA Grand Canyon. The hotel was very cool, the staff super friendly, nice breakfast included in the am. Wonderful dinner in the tavern inside. Parking right out back and everything in town you could walk to. I would return here in a heartbeat next time I come to Wellsboro!"
