"Was a wonderful stay at the hotel. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff made it a great experience. Unfortunately the weather put a damper on some things (flooding was close by, but didn't affect the hotel) on our travel but Comfort Inn in Burnet took care of us."

"The first thing I noticed and appreciated was a nice cold, clean room! That is exactly what we were looking for after a full day of Texas summer baseball. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. The pool was perfect for our baseball team. Just like our rooms, the pool was clean and it was very refreshing! I'd recommend this place to anyone!"

The main draws for the lodge are the mt bike lift and trails down the mountain and boat launching. Unfortunately the lake is too low there for any boating. "We loved our stay at Walden! We had wanted to go for awhile and enjoyed it a lot. Super comfortable bed, lovely views and quiet property. It was extremely windy when we were there, so we didn’t get to make use of the fire pit, and the tent was quite loud at night because of the wind but nothing to be done about that!
