. Adjacent to ski school and hire shop. Easy walk to main gondola along snowy track (can ski with poles, walk with snowboard boots was fine). Impeccably clean with friendly staff. Walk into town takes about 10 mins but there are buses. Free pass to excellent local swimming pool. "

"Great hotel complex with plenty of facilities. Nice location, good size room. Would have given 5 star if it wasn’t for this bizarre incident on second night. I wore closed top croc to buffet dinner to rest my feet but was told it didn’t satisfy the dress code and had to go back to room and change, despite seeing multiple people (male and female adults) wearing flip flops and sandals on the same night and other nights in the same buffet restaurant. I have no issues following dress code if there...

"What a wonderful hotel! Beautiful historic building in a stunning location with wonderful facilities, food and fantastic staff. I received a free upgrade and had a huge wellness room with an in room sauna and a stunning balcony overlooking the lake. The half board was such great value with a lovely 2 course mid afternoon snack, fabulous 5 course gourmet dinner and wonderful breakfast spread. They even dropped me off at the station as it was snowing. Lovely staff throughout the hotel, and great...

"The hotel was very quiet when we were there as it was the end of the season. The staff were all great. I missed not having a kettle in the room especially when a cup of tea at the bar cost €6.50
Pool was lovely but a bit cold.
The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well there. The location is fantastic."
