"This hotel in the town of Ciudad Rodrigo is a great place to stay. My room was very small, but exceptionally clean, and had a TV, a closet, and a tiny but sparkling clean private bathroom. The hotel is a 5 minute walk downhill from the bus station and my room on the 3rd floor had a view of the fortified city on the hill, only a 10 minute walk away. "This is a quiet spa resort in the countryside. I stayed as it is dog friendly and needed an overnight on way through the area. Very nice place. A bit dated. Lots of people on package tours. The restaurant is decent, and the prices are fine. The gardens are lovely. Unfortunately I was unabelt o try the spa facilities but definitely will come again. "

"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing. "Property is beautiful although is is showing it's age. It had quite a bit of fruit flies inside the room, mostly in the windows and bathroom. The stay is to be enjoyed by visiting the nearby neighbour towns and sightseeing. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, I'd recommend going to the closest village, La Alberca. "
