But we were very disappointed when we saw our room, as we had paid extra for a mountain view room, there was construction in front of the hotel, which meant from our balcony we could not see the view (see photo 1). We complained at reception (I hate complaining and felt awkward having to do this) and were immediately offered a different room, without any question, which made me think that they must already know that the room did...

Great tea as well in the breakfast area. The pool was nice with various bubble features. Very comfortable beds, and nice views out on the room patio. The lounge chairs outside were nice to relax before setting off on the trails. "

"We have stayed here twice now. It is a small traditional hotel. Set at the edge of town, it has an unobstructed and amazing view of the valley and mountains. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good. The room also came with a Allgäu-Walser-Card which was a great savings. Not sure if this was a special offer or a normal practice. "
