We muddled through with my tiny bit of schoolboy french and many gestures. The kitchen/dining area was well equipped, it was a case of working everything out for myself. "The hotel is quite unique and offers a special experience thanks to its character. Its a 200 year old building , well maintained that makes the guests feel like they are in Epoch Rennaisance. The hotel owners are very friendly and kind. We stayed 2 nights in a room with two double beds. We would recommend to put some mosquito net on the windows so there are no insects coming in the room. The pool area is also nice and cosy. The area and surroundings are quiet which was expected as it is French...

"We stayed one night with half board for a quick trip to the Vosges. The hotel is very nice, modern, and clean with good parking. We used the pool, which was relaxing after a longish drive. We did not take advantage of the spa, although the treatments on offer seemed good (and I was tempted by the back massage). The dinner was great.
