"Lovely little pub hotel surrounded by peaceful villages & lush, green countryside. We were met by a wonderful lady who made us feel really welcome, made sure we had everything we needed & it certainly felt like a home from home. Comfortable, warm & friendly. Good food available in the pub restaurant & a delicious breakfast the next morning. Huge hugs all round as we left :) My children, little

"The room was clean, the view of the garden was pleasant. The kettle didn't fit under the bathroom tap so a mug was needed to fill it up. The man who checked us in was friendly, he mentioned that the WiFi was likely to drop out a lot, which it did. This was a reason why we wouldn't stay here again, as we needed to stay in touch with our daughter who lives in the area. "

Mia feel so welcome and they could do enough for you. This is an outstanding hotel, with a wide variety of drinks in the excellent 1905 bar and the a la carte menu also available to us in the bar so Mia could be with us.

The self check in means you see no staff but the pub staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything. Located a 10 min walk from Knepp wilding project so convenient for us. "

"We only stayed one night and arrived late, the kitchen had just closed but still offered Cheese and crackers, which was nice and went the bottle of red we had bought. Lovely room, comfy bed. Would I stay there again, Yes."

The room was a little tired with chipped furniture and peeling wallpaper, and it was very small. However it was well equipped with everything you need for a one night stop.
