"First experience of an Ibis budget hotel and we were very impressed. The rooms are, as you would expect, very compact, but they have everything you need. Very impressed that the floor was wood and stone rather than grotty carpets. The only downside is you have to get coffee etc in the lobby, which was a bit of a trapse back to the third floor - BUT its a budget hotel, so this is the compromise. The drinks were free, and there was a non dairy option for milk. We took our two wee dogs

"Likes: Swimming pool, sauna, steam Room, jacuzzi 👌 Gym & Leisure Staff Friendly 👌 Breakfast worth the extra 👌 Close to Edinburgh Gateway railway and tram station. Morrisons a 5 minute walk. McDonald's & Tesco's a 5 minute drive. Fairly good value. WiFi fairly strong everywhere. TV - you can sign in to your own streaming accounts. Enough parking, busy car park though always enough spaces for us. Dislikes: Stayed for five nights, beds never made up, bins never emptied, towels never changed....
