"Amazing service and attention from hotel staff. The Japanese traditional breakfast was incredible, one of the best meals during our stay in Hokkaido. In room bath had great view."
The Windsor Hotel Toya, Vignette Collection by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great breakfast options. Japanese, western or buffet. I chose western. Premium fresh fruits, pastries, famous Hokkaido milk, different juices and many more. The outdoor onsen is beautiful. Our room with lake view, we could see the lakeside fireworks at night and beautiful sunrise in the morning. The best of all, they let us check in early since our room is ready. And the check out time is not till 12 pm. White gloves staff services through out the hotel. The room is extremely clean. We would definitely will come back. "
"It’s close to the Shinkansen which suited my needs. Not much in immediate the area as others have noted but it is only a 20 minute train trip into Hakodate. "
"Staff and accommodations very nice. Free laundry.
Only confusion was check in and line up for food in same door. Stayed in food line for short bit and then asked for check in. Even though very busy a staff showed us everything. "
"The room is a little dated but otherwise super clean and spacious. Another disappointment is thst the hotel only have shower in the onsen which many guests may like the experience but better if the hotel can consider shower room for people who wants privacy.
Anyway, still I would recommend this hotel."
