"The Chateau Laurier; one of Fairmont's true gems is located right on Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa, steps away from the Byward Market and the shops on the Sparks Street Mall. The staff is superior; they treated me like royalty, and could not have done more to make my stay fantastic. This is the only Ottawa hotel I will ever consider staying in. The hotel is so beautiful, with so much history. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Ottawa."

"This was my third stay at Les Suites in the modern 2 bedroom family suite. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms have always been clean and in overall great condition. The location is good and parking in the garage isn't difficult. My only complaint is that the elevators are slow and crowded at check in time, and the wait time is a little frustrating. I understand that this is probably out of their control, though, so I would still recommend this place and give 5 stars."
