"The property is a 1842 inn. The welcoming lobby with a fireplace and bar (no service) set up is a great place to sit so you are not locked in the room, especially in the cold weather. We had the inn to ourselves as it was off season. (Two colleagues attending a conference in a closeby town) I am sure it is lovely in the summer with several places to sit and enjoy the outside as well as a short walk to the beautiful shore of Lake Huron! "Nicely decorated, modern, sophisticated and they had a nice breakfast. The staff is very helpful. Each room has a private small patio. When we were there, the lilac bushes were in full bloom, adding to the experience. Great biking and hiking on the G2G trail, a short walk from the hotel. "

"Nice clean room with very comfortable bed. I appreciated having a fridge but basically just needed a place to sleep and the Livery was perfect & affordable. Shower was good with nice hot water & great water pressure. Appreciated the cute decorative touches. I parked in back lot & used back entrance. Clean entrance with nice landscaping. Great proximity to restaurants & shopping. Thank you -- I will be back!"

"Rooms were comfortable and basic but perfect for our one night in the area. Beds were a bit in the firm side but some of us didn’t mind that while others found them too hard. Just personal preference. The Inn has laundry machines available which was a great amenity!"
