"My family stayed at Vollsnes Feriehus this August and it was by far our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Norway! Simply put, it was one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed! The cabin was beautifully decorated, the host family was warm and inviting, the view from our deck was stunning, and we all had fun using the kayaks, paddleboards, and row boat. "The cabins are nice. But the problem, and this is a big one, is that the matresses are too thin and you feel like you've been sleeping on a plank of wood the whole night. You wake up at 4 AM because the curtains aren't blackout curtains so if you are sensitive to light, tough luck buddy. To remedy this problem is cheap and easy. "Great stay. The hotel is simple but clean and comfortable. The area in Stryn and Loen was stunning and we wished we had more time. We stayed for the buffet supper which was great. Breakfast was also good. Would definitely stay again."

"Our room had the most amazing view of the fjord! Very clean and spacious. Only negative would be that there were 3 very comfortable leather chairs in the room for only 2 people so 1 chair was actually in the way and should not be there. We had access to a full kitchen and places to sit outside and admire the views. Host was very friendly."
