"We enjoyed our time at the inn. The environment was cozy and clean. Staff helpful and the rooms comfortable. We really liked the ability to open a window for fresh air. Not common at most chain type hotels. "
"Very convenient for an early flight to Iceland with a clean environment and friendly staff. About 45 minutes from Reykjavík and a ten minute drive from KEF Airport."
"Large comfortable rooms. Cozy fireplace and puzzle table in public lounge area. Very helpful and friendly staff. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the beautiful spa amenities. We highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the Blue Lagoon. "
"I would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the hot tub (small, but we had it to ourselves in the early evening). The beds were comfortable, and it was quite. I told them we would be leaving before breakfast, and they graciously packed us sandwiches to go, ready at the front desk. The restaurant/bar is decorated nicely, and they had live music. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived, but most folks left by 8:15pm. "
"We needed a hotel for 1 evening and didn't want to stay at the airport. Hotel Duus was fairly close (10 minute taxi ride), located near a picturesque marina and had a restaurant on the premise. The room was clean, bed comfortable, the staff was very responsive and helpful with any inquiries. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant! The lobster bisque soup was outstanding! Not only did our server provide excellent dinner service, but she also arranged for our taxi pick up the next morning. I wish we would have had more time to explore Iceland. Next time!! We would definitely recommend Hotel Duus."
