What a fun place to stay! Hotels in the West End of Toronto are limited and we were in town for a wedding so we booked the Westlake. Each room has its own vibe. We had the beach room which was super fun. Parking is limited, however we got there early and were able to secure a spot. They advertise an adult only hotel yet I did see children in the hotel and since there is no one at the front checking you in. There is no real way to monitor this. We would stay again if we need a hotel in the West end of the city.

Location worked very well for us. Liked the contactless check-in. Room was the right size. Easy to find parking. Only downside as there is no housekeeping for 2 night stays, it would be more accommodating to have some dish soap and a dish towel that you can clean your mugs and other kitchen stuff during your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are unique and clean. My only real complaint is a small one and that’s just that I wish there was a small frying pan. Plenty of spatulas and a small pot, but no pan. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely return in the future!

Very unique property and good bang for your buck. The one thing that was odd is that for a non smoking property the room had a deep down smell of cigarette smoke masked by air fresheners. This bothered me but not the other two guests so just something to keep in mind. Limited parking, 5 dedicated spaces for 7-8 rooms, so keep in mind if you’re not me of the first five there. Very modern remodeling and clean otherwise.

We liked the beds! So comfy. The room however, had a couple of things: broken window that remained open (loud at night — hard to sleep), the AC didn’t work, and the floor showed some serious signs of wear including stains and gum spots. Our biggest concern was that it smelled like cigarette smoke/musty even though there were signs that said no smoking.
