The non-existent Palace hotel

This hotel does not exist. I book it and showed up to learn that my booking was accepted by hotels.com but that the apalace hotel was now the movenpick. They did not have my booking as it went to a non-existent entity.

Kedves, segítőkész személyzet. Tiszta szobák és közösségi terek, alapos napi takarítás. Az ágyak szuper szélesek, inkább keménynek mondható, de kényelmes. A szálloda elhelyezkedése nagyon jó, minden könnyen megközelíthető gyalogosan.

Uns hat ganz besonders die Lage gefallen. Alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Bei der Zimmerausstattung ist kein Bügeleisen vorhanden. Wenn man beabsichtigt zwischen den Tagen zu arbeiten, wird es eher komplizierter, da das Wlan in den (oberen Etagen) sehr schlecht ist. Am Eingang hat man jedoch Sitzgelegenheit und gute Verbindung.

Very warm and welcome Place!

On arrival wonderful welcome by receptionist Mimi! Went out of her way to make us feel very welcome! great ambassador for the hotel Only minus was the breakfast. Food very good, staff very friendly but one big chaos. Waiting for table and food took hours. Only Teresa worked very efficiently, fast and friendly. Hotel should make her manager of the breakfast room! As she is the only one with an overview! Her colleagues acted as if the were part of an old Italian comedy movie!

Bring your own iron

A bit unfriendly welcome. The men behind the reception often struck me as quite condecending. Comfortable rooms, but the bathroom door was very hard to close, it struck agaist the bathroom tiles. The whole hotel is a bit rundown. God enough breakfast. Bring your own iron if you have shirts/dresses which need ironing. Because of covid they claim they cant bring an iron to our room, but a maid can iron my clothes for 3 euros each. Makes no sense. I can just wash my hands after ironing, but to let an unkown person with unkown hand hygiene handle my clothes? No thanks. And while every guest had to take temperatures every time they stepped into the hotel, I noticed no one behind the reception clean their hands between all the roomkeys they handled, then they grab my visacard from me at checkout, when they did not understand it had a chip and pin was required. Still with unclean hands from the keys other people had delivered in between. Good resturants close to hotel. Really liked the one across the street.

Recommended, good location

It's the second time that we are guests at the Palace hotel, Bari. The hotel is in a perfect location in central Bari, walking distance from the seashore and main shopping district. You don't really need to park your car inside the hotel, there are a lot of blue parking slots in Bari where you can pay on average 1,2 euros per hour easily with the app "mycicero". Breakfast in the terrace is a real treat, unfortunately due to covid restrictions still tue buffet is closed to guests so you need to ask the waiter what you want but not a big deal.

Die Lage super zentral. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse über die Altstadt einzigartig. Sauberes Geräumiges Zimmer. Ein grosser Minuspunkt war die Rezeption, gewöhnungsbedurftig (z.T. mürrisch). Nach 5 Tagen war Mimmi an der Reception und sie war so herzlich und freundlich und hat uns noch schöne Orte zum besuchen gesagt.

Sehr zentarl bei der Altstadt

Sehr zentral am Rand der Altstadt gelegen. Die Zimmeraustattung könnte etwas besser sein, z.B. Kaffee oder Wasserkocher. Zumindet gibt es einen Kühlschrank und die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut.
