We absolutely love our stay at Trillium. Right from the cozy cottage (which was set up kindly to welcome our pet) to the beautiful and well-maintained resort amenities, the food and super warm and friendly hosts - we couldn’t ask for more. We’ll definitely be planning to visit more often. Thank you Trillium team!

Awesome tranquil resort. Small with not many people. If you want peace and quiet and lots of activities to do this is the place for you. The lake is beautiful and private. Food was ok. Nothing special. One day our servers in the dining room were not on the ball. Service was just not there. My wife wanted a spa and phoned and left a message but no return call. Another couple told us there spa was cancelled the day of after they had booked it ahead on line. The need to work on that for sure if they are advertising a spa. Cabins are well appointed and tidy. We stayed in the Stillwater cabin. All in all was a great place to relax and we will return again.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay and were very impressed with the facilities, grounds and staff. The only thing we found odd was the lack of a sink in the kitchen area of our cabin.

Charming stay.

Beautiful quiet location with nice amenities and charm. Was worried about the tight check in window of 3-5 pm. When they didn’t answer their phone I was worried about being stuck but showed up and it worked out great. Restaurant atmosphere, service and food was a pleasure.

The rustic look of the chalets is quite pleasing. You feel like your in a lodge from the past.

Did Not Meet Expectations

We feel we were misled by the Trillium Resort & Spa’s online description and were disappointed to see how rundown it was. Our “cabin” was not a separate building but was half of a duplex and the lack of air conditioning made it almost unbearable in the hot humid weather we experienced. The site itself did not accommodate anyone with mobility issues, e.g. the “walking trails” were unmaintained and dangerously unsafe to hike, and access to the unheated pool was via stairs which led to a grassy slope. All in all, Trillium Resort was certainly not worth in excess of $300 dollars a night.

Rustic, comfortable cabin (for 4 adults). Onsite amenities...paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. Pool was FREEZING...he middle of the lake was warmer than the pool! Grounds were well maintained and pretty.

1. chalet very clean and staff very accommodating when we requested a change - due to handicap issue 2. topography NOT SUITED for handicapped people 3. pool not heated 4. hot tub not available but they were trying to get it going the day we left 5. no sun umbrellas at the beach 6. must walk through goose poop to get to the small raked beach 7. only food we got from them - salad - was less than fresh to be kind, and expensive 8. no front desk help after hours 9. generally unkempt, though they are clearly making an effort 10. internet (as expected) spotty 11. this resort did not warrant the price they charged - about $560/day for three people with no meals no extra charges

We had a winter vacation here for a couple days in the winter and during COVID. We found that the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were very comfortable though we knew it would be a bit rustic. We had food delivered and only ordered basic stuff, but it was pretty good (I highly recommend the bread pudding!). The winter scenery at the resort and the hiking trails was outstanding. We will definitely be going again.

Staffs are not smiling and are not that helpful. During breakfast time they were rude and not welcoming.

6/10 Good

Nice getaway but expected more

Not the cleanest - there was hair on one of the towels and the rooms and bathrooms definitely need to be updated. Canoes and equipment were pretty outdated - we used two different canoes on separate days and both had broken seats and paddles were quite worn. The bugs were crazy and we were being followed by a lot of black flies but this was more a function of the season and weather. Overall, the landscape and the main guest house were the best things about our stay and service was good but for $300 I expected more updated amenities.

Very pleasant resort with what feels like a private lake. The water is very warm. The only thing missing is AC In the cabin and better wifi connection.
