Brilliant.

Wonderul stay. The location is a little bit outside the city but right outside the train station which has one of main metro lines connecting to the centre which is very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and staff were friendly.

Check in made easy. The reception staff was nice and friendly and very attentive as well. A special shout-out to the attendant at the bar during the dinner time. Not sure what his name was but he was super friendly and quick with his service. I struggled with the language barrier in ordering but he was very kind.

Inside clean but outside disgusting

Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Near train station and their are 1 shopping mall and 1 Lidl supermarket. Surrounding area is very poor and dirty. Feels like unsafe area. Lots of dump garbage and broken furniture on the street. There is nothing to do after dark.

Overall good experience. The one thing that was not convincing to me was the surrounding area of th hotel. The neighbourhood is fairly dirty, noisy, I didn’t feel the safest. Another thing that I did not like was the fact the bathroom was not the cleanest and I found food that was stuck to the bench by the close. I am a clean freak and I can not expect for all hotels to be up to my standard. Regardless, the staff was welcoming especially the front desk.

Overall I would've expected better

I have a bit of a mixed review for this hotel, as there were numerous things we liked, and also many things we didn't like at all. I'll detail them below: Things we liked: the room is a pretty good size and the bathroom was spacious and clean, with a nice area to do hair/makeup for my partner. Bed was fairly comfortable, but definitely could have been better. There's a lot of seating areas in the room we picked, including a sofa in front of the bed as well as a place to lay your suitcase and some extra chairs. Things we didn't like: First of all, you have to pay for parking (14 euros per night). It's actually the first 4-star hotel we've ever stayed at in any country where parking at the hotel was not included- this put us off a bit, as even 2 and 3-star hotels give free parking on site. Room service wasn't very good, as our pizza was completely undercooked on one side and had raw bits of cheese. There are also no electrical outlets at all anywhere near the bed, so if you are having to wake up super early to an alarm like we had to, you'll need to run across the room to turn it off. The bed could've been a lot more comfortable and also the Wifi was not very good and was very spotty (so I don't recommend staying here for business). Thin walls & you hear people in other rooms easily. Overall, we did expect better for a 4-star hotel and for the price we paid for it, as in other western European countries we've visited, the price we paid gives you a night at a 5-star hotel.
