Overall, the room was clean, my stay was enjoyable, the only 2 negatives I would have is, 1..there was a cover missing off the buttons to flush the toilet, 2... unfortunately I did not receive the complimentary breakfast.

there was a hole in the roof where the ceiling fan was in the bathroom, no shampoo or hand was supplied. Ordered breakfast not supplied had to look else where

Had 2 minor issues only No shower gel left in shower to use 1 live black spider under the bed linen when pulled back the bedding. Overall the stay was pleasant and comfortable Will stay again

Great position, close to everything, parking next to room, beds were good, aircon worked well. The only downside is dangerous bathrooms. Extremely slippery with water (and especially with soap) on shower and bathroom floor. Not suitable for anyone with any sort of balance issues. There was a warning sign regarding slippery floors, but I was still surprised how slippery they were.

On arrival we were informed that our room had been “upgraded”. I suspect that they had overbooked and had to move us to a different room that was not prepared for guests. I would have preferred the room we booked because I specifically chose it for the bathroom which looked to be in a better state than some of the other rooms. They had left a ceiling fan on in the room (during the middle of winter) clearly to try to address the smell. It smelt like a dog had been in the room. The carpets had not been vacuumed and there were pieces of what I suspect looked like chewed dog toy. The surfaces had not been cleaned, there were crumbs on coffee table and the bathroom sink has a massive build up of black grime around the taps. We did not bother raising these issues because it was late in the evening and we knew there were no other rooms available. The electric blanket on the bed didn’t work and the room was very cold. The bedspread was not clean. Terrible. You should inspect the property and consider removing it from your site as it is very misleading.

Nice and quiet area. We booked the luxury king suite expecting just that- luxury. The suite we stayed in had not had guests since December 2019 ( over 6 months) according to a cleaning schedule that was in a drawer in the room. The room smelt stale and old that you can tell it was closed up for that amount of time. Everything was out dated as in the photos on line to what we saw were two totally different things. Due to Coronavirus things have understandably been tough so Foxtel wasn’t on at this stage even though we paid full price for our room. Overall highly disappointing. It’s a shame that my partner and I stayed there as it was a gift for a night out and away when it was a wasted night and we should have just stayed in the city ( Melbourne) and paid the same amount or less and had much better quality

Overall very good but had a few minor issues.

Accommodation only, no restaurant. Parking available next to your room. The mattress on our bed was very comfortable. Fairly firm but wasn't to hard. Couple of very minor things that made the difference between giving the room 4 stars instead of 5. The liquid soap container next to the bathroom basin was empty. The small lower shelf on my side of the bed was loose and coming away from the wall. Aircon in main room was excellent, but it didn't really warm the bathroom much.

Breakfast included in my tariff was delivered 3 days out of 7resulting in extra cost for us. Complaints had to be made through children because the manager was never there. Our window leaked during heavy rain resulting in wet bedding . We didn’t even get clean towels to replace the ones on the window sill and floor to soak up the rain . Those wet towels were on the floor for 4 days without being checked or changed. A very poor experience and not even an apology for the inconvenience.

Such a wonderful motel

Such a wonderful motel to stay in for a quick trip to Castlemaine! It was so cozy, modern, clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap, etc! Checking in and out was so easy, and the staff were so kind and welcoming to us. Breakfast was kindly handed to us the night before! Would really recommend this motel, it was perfectly in the centre of town

Pretty average but ok Parking space was non existent when our neighbours spread out so had to park in the street Had to ask about the breakfast before it was made available Good spot though
