I had a great stay at Melbourne Lodge. Staff were very friendly and polite and the property was kept clean. Shared bathrooms maintained very well and kitchen was well equipped. Parking was available onsite and free, but was busy and not always easy to find a space (although this could be typical in Queenstown!) 5 mins walk into the main town which was great!

The Melbourne Lodge has an amazing guest lounge with kitchen facilities like microwave, toaster oven, elec. frying pan, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, etc. It is a great place where you can prepare food and dining tables to eat at. We had a king size bed and a great room, nice bathroom & we loved it. We walked into the city near the wharf every day & organised activities from there. Also, it is very reasonably priced, the best we could find in Queenstown. Staff are very helpful & friendly.

Clean, comfortable and located pretty close to downtown Queenstown. Road construction nearby during our stay made parking a bit more challenging - but can't fault the hotel for that. Overall, a good value and a great place to stay.
