After reading reviews, we wondered if we had made a mistake, however we didn't, it was 45 min tram direct from airport and then 12 minute walk to main centre. Lovely restaurant and basic bar. Clean bedroom with nice comfy beds and large shower. Room was a bit dark but comfy. Ideal location and felt safe. I would stay here again

Quirky place to stay in Bordeaux with its ecological principles. Friendly staff. Nice area to sit inside and outside with a beer garden. Room was pleasant but not enough light.

The room (in principle for two) is unusually small. The bathroom had no soap at the sink and cups/glasses (yes, one can get them after asking at the reception, but why should one need to ask?). My room was next to a service area where some kind of a machinery kept on operating all night long. Not too noisy, but audible and not good for light sleepers. Food and drink is fine, the hotel is 5 min walk from the tram station and also 15 min walk from the Darwin Eco area, which is good.

Dump

I have travelled all over the world and this dump , trumps everything. I'm certain there are bigger prison cells then these "rooms" no more then 8ft by 8ft in size. The 1 tiny window has no blind or curtains so for privacy, you have to roll down a steel shutter, which makes room have no light at all. God help anyone staying here if it is warm. Didn't have breakfadt , has i could only see bread and eggs and no fresh coffee or juice. Cheaper to eat in a local bakery and definitely nicer food. Had 1 pint of rotten lager here and cost 7.50e , definitely the most expensive beer in Bordeaux . No where to leave bags for few hours and if you want late check out, you have to ask in advance . ABSOLUTELY UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD I STAY HERE

Kamer is eenvoudig en was prima voor één nachtje. Alleen zeer warm in de kamer dan is alleen een ventilator voor verkoeling niet voldoende. Het was erg benauwd. Badkamer erg nat als je hebt gedoucht. Douchewand tussen douche toilet kan dit voorkomen. Internet werkte prima en snel.

Les chambres basique sont juste horrible un lit dans 5 mettre carrer très bruyant , les voisins passe devant votre porte et seul fenêtre , avec une vue sur la chambre et donc vous . Pas de climatisation donc 35 degrés dans la chambre. En plein Bordeaux et rien pour se garer donc prévoir deux budgets si vous venez en voiture . Ensuite les alentours que des travaux très bruyants également. Bref même pour 1 nuits ne prenez pas leur cagibi.

Never go here in summer. Or ever actially.

Ive never stayed in a place so hot. It was 39c in bordeaux that day to be fair, but we arrived at 2.30am and it was significantly cooler outside than the room. There is no airconditioning. This is due to it being an eco friendly hotel. There is a poster in the lobby listing all the things that make them eco friendly. They have solar panels and grow vegetables etc. There was no mention of the fact they dont have aircon or sell water. Didnt mention on the listing online either. Probably because if that was on their poster or online listing then nobody would stay there. Despite our late arrival i briefly had a look online to see if we could find somewhere else and just forego the money. It was too difficult with two kids so instead we stayed. There were showers at 4am and 5am and my wife nearly had a panic attack at one point. I went to reception and asked for fans but they had run out. In 30 years of travelling to places like bangkok, tanzania and texas ive never been less comfortable in the heat. Fail. Also our room was at the end of a long balcony with about 20 other rooms. With their window open AND THEIR WINDOW WAS OPEN you could actually see their bed. A weird place that felt like a prison.

Adecuado cuando la temperatura no sea elevada

Buena relación calidad precio, sin embargo no existe climatizacion. En la habitación existe un ventilador de torre, el cual si hace más de 25 grados en la calle es insuficiente. Hemos tenido que dejar la puerta por la noche abierta una hora para poder estar dentro. Sudores y fatiga constante dormir con tanto calor.

Globalement satisfaits après 2 nuits. Chambre très petite qui s'est avérée étouffante par ces fortes chaleurs hélas. Il serait bon de prévoir un système de rafraîchissement des chambres, les températures estivales devenant de plus en plus chaudes année après année.
