I wanted to 5 stars but there was a boat strike going on the day we left. So, they could easily inform all Guests putting a sign in the reception as a warning, in order to get people more prepared to the Airport. It was hustle dragging bags through those small streets corridors to find a boat that would take us to Airport, not funny!

The staff and owner of Hotel Fenice were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was decorated with authentic furniture and fixtures, all functional and attractive. Breakfast was excellent, with convenient long hours. Location very central, yet quiet. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Travel light because you will have to cart your luggage over bridge stairs from the water stop to the hotel. But that’s almost anywhere in the city. Just a short walk of several minutes.
