Cyndie & a nice gentleman checked me into the hotel. He gave me some fantastic restaurant recommendations & after a 20 mile bike ride, the hamburger at Eddie's Grill across the street was delicious. He also gave me some ideas for things to see the following day. At his recommendation, I went and saw La Purisima, the mission in Lompoc. It was the most restored mission I've ever seen. It was wonderful. I went on a two hour tour with the Park Ranger and got a real idea of how life was back then. Parking was easy and right in front of my room. The breakfast was good with an egg choice, sausage, many choices for bread, juices, and coffee. The room was super comfortable clean and the bed was nice and firm.
I had a pleasant day at the Inn at Highway 1 and we're definitely return. The staff and the entire experience were very pleasant.
