Skal du gjennom Tyskland, er Wurtsburg en fin by å stoppe i. Vi benyttet Ibis, som ligger 10-15 minuttres gange inn til sentrum. Hotellet ligger ved elven og med rom den veien er det fin utsikt å nyte. God service og grei frokost får du. De har ikke egen parkerig, men rett overveien er en stor og romslig parkering tilgjengelig for en grei kostnad. Vi anbefaler gjerne hotellet til andre.

Ich war als Geschäftsreisender unterwegs. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, bzw. nur eines auf Kipp stellen. (man müsste sich erst durch die Rezeption aufsperren lassen). Die Luft ist durch die Klimaanlage zwar kühl, es ist allerdings nicht mit frischer Luft zu vergleichen. Die großen Hauptstraßen auf beiden Seiten des Hotels sind sehr laut. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Maininsel finden laute Musikveranstaltungen statt. Das Personal ist nicht unfreundlich aber auch nicht freundlich, aber ich habe mich als Gast nicht wohlgefühlt. Sehr merkwürdige Bezahl- und Eincheck-Methoden. Erst bezahlen ohne Rechnung und ohne, dass man das Zimmer gesehen hat. Die Rechnung gibt es erst kurz vor Abreise. Normalerweise zahle ich erst, wenn ich die Rechnung überprüft habe. Frühstück nichts besonderes, allerdings zu teuer. In der Innenstadt gibt es Cafés und Bäcker, die preiswerteres und besseres Frühstück anbieten. In Summe: Selten so unwohl gefühlt in einem Hotel und ich bin in vielen Hotels beruflich bedingt unterwegs. Ich würde hier nicht nochmal übernachten.

Beim Einchecken musste ich das Frühstück für den 17 Jährigen Sohn nach bezahlen - obwohl alles in Expedia richtig eingegeben und gebucht war. Nicht schlimm, aber unprofessionell. Dann haben wir erst ein Zimmer bekommen, dass verqualmt gerochen hat, das wurde aber umgehend getauscht. Dann wurde aber unser Zimmer nicht gereinigt und am 2. Tag ging unser Schlüssel nicht mehr dabei hatten wir 2 Nächte gebucht und bezahlt. Alles in allem okay, aber keine Glanzleistung.
