The staff were lovely and friendly, the bed was comfy and the grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately the whole property is in dire need of updating and TLC. There are large cracks in the ceiling, walls, stains on the curtains, mold marks in the bathroom. Everything was slightly past it including cracked and peeling leather on the chairs in the bar, broken parts in the sauna. The food in the linden tree was okay and breakfast in the morning was average. Overall it was a just okay stay but I wouldn’t rush back.

Not what it says on the tin

Staff in hotel on evening were obnoxious you were made to feel unwelcome. Belly pork was under cooked. outside setting was broken and dirty. Room in need of up dating paint peeling in bathroom. Breakfast staff were in a hurry for you to order . Breakfast was nicely presented and tasty .

A lovely stay that could have been perfect

We had an amazing stay. The staff were fantastic , and the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by stunning grounds. We slept like a log every night , and the bed was so comfortable . Breakfast was amazing too , one of the best hotel breakfasts ive ever had. Unfortunately the corridors and rooms are a bit tired around the edges and needing a little tlc , the carpets are getting a bit threadbare and the corrodors smell a bit stale
