Absolutely charming property. One must walk up or down stairs to reach the hotel, but that one challenge is worth the effort. The property is unique and delightful.

Close to port so convenient for ferry to Samos, really nice building but short stay so left before breakfast. Staff were really nice and friendly… bedroom was very light at night if you like it dark and we were only given a small blanket for a large double bed and two people but we arrived so late didn’t query. Also no TV in room if you were staying longer!

Charming hotel with character

Perched on a cliff a couple of blocks away above the main street, Villa Ephesus is on a perfect location with great view on the Sea. Hussein was beyond helpful to help navigating the narrow street above the hotel and to get the luggage in. It was a great boutique hotel feeling with warm welcome from all the staff. The Turkish breakfast was fantastic, served on the higher level terrace with great views. The room was comfortable, well appointed and very clean. We had a great time in Kusadasi as homebase for the region and the Villa Ephesus was one of the reasons

Do not stay here! I spent $150 to walk away from this hotel so let this be your warning. I did not end up staying here as it did not feel safe. We couldn’t find parking. The hotel is a nightmare to access and we couldn’t imagine trying to get here with our luggage. The area looks like it’s in a sketchy neighborhood and not secure. The receptionist was rude. I asked to see my room and she got up from desk and pointed to a door! I then asked to speak to the manager who she said was not in Kusadasi. After I left I tried calling Expedia to get them involved. They tried to get authorization for refund but hotel manager Okan (who I didn’t get to speak to but somehow Expedia did 30 min later) refused to authorize refund. It also stunk like cat poop and cigarette smoke the 5 min I was inside their lobby. They try gaslighting and invalidating their bad reviews but if you have common sense you can see their pattern. I’m also putting pics of the front area where you are supposed to check in from. I cannot understand At All how they have positive reviews. They must buy them. Don’t waste your money or ruin your vacation. I’ll expect a rude reply back as they always blame the customer when they receive honest feedback.

Villa Ephesus was a wonderful hotel! So convenient to everything. The owners are so incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a small boutique hotel with all of the comforts and a nice personal touch! The sunsets from the terrace are amazing and the breakfast is a feast. I highly recommend the Villa Ephesus if you are going to Kusadasi.

Das Hotel ist interessant geschnitten und toll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick der Terasse ist atemberaubend. Leider war der Pool die ersten Tage nicht geöffnet. Das Hotel ist nicht gut geeignet für Menschen mit Problemen beim Laufen. Das Frühstück und auch der Service der Mitarbeiter war atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind leider unglaublich hellhörig, dh man hört jedes kleine Wort des Nachbarn und kann sich kaum frei bewegen. Das war definitiv nicht erholend. Frech fanden wir auch, dass uns verboten wurde auf der Terasse unser Essen zu essen und der Besitzer dies über seine Mitarbeiter sagen liess, als es selber zu tun. Das hat unsere Stimmung getrübt.

The Villa Ephesus is beautifully decorated, very clean, and uniquely situated. Okan was so gracious in getting us settled and acclimated to the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views and lovely decorations. Breakfast was astounding. What a gem!

This hotel is beautiful and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was really good and is inclusive. We had wonderful views. This was one of the best hotel stays of my life. The staff met us at 2am when we checked in. They went above and beyond over and over! I would caution American visitors that parking is challenging and the area looks a little sketchy at night. We did meet several neighbors of the hotel and they were all lovely. We encountered zero issues with safety and our rental car had zero issues. The streets are very steep and very narrow. Please discuss driving and parking with the hotel prior to arrival to avoid surprise. Despite the challenge in getting there, it is well worth a stay.

Extraordinary and charming boutique hotel. Only a few rooms, created out of an accumulation of houses within a hillside neighborhood close to the shore makes this a special place. Cleverly and beautifully decorated with great care. Comfortable bed with stunning views. Lavish Turkish breakfast unlike any other. Best of all was the friendly and attentive staff ready to help us with everything. This was a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget.
