Such a great place. Fabulous location. Rooms were comfortable and very attractive. Staff were amazing and food very good. The Sunday dinner was fab!(although menu overall could benefit from some 'healthier' options). We had a few niggles with our room but dealt with immediately and appropriately. Would definitely reccomend and would book again if in the area.

Well organised - all arrangements wend to plan. Froendly and helpful staff. We had a delicious meal each in the restaurant and the continental breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of foods available. Our room was very comfortable and had a good supply of toiletries, teas, coffees etc. We really enjoyed our one night stay and would have been happy to stay longer. We definitely recommend you book as you’ll have a great time.

Quite a basic offering which included a continental breakfast but for the money paid it was good value. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food in the pub was decent and well priced. Fairly average rooms above a pub. The room was pretty clean and bed was quite comfy. The toilet was ridiculously loud so we couldn’t flush at night for fear of waking each other up, and the shower temperature was a bit temperamental. Continental breakfast was included which was quite simple but there was plenty of it and a reasonable selection. Staff were friendly enough but the service was generally a bit on the relaxed side. We had to hunt someone down to check out.

Pleasant enough

Check in went smoothly, however none of the rooms have a bath anymore (since early spring 2023). This was a disappointment as the room listing specifically offered a bath. The room was clean but not the comfort expected. It was unfortunate the temperature was so hot and the fan had been removed from our room. The food menu was greatly reduced from that shown online. The portion sizes were generous. Lovely beer garden with plenty of tables. A basic continental breakfast was included. Staff generally very pleasant.
