Réservation pour 1 chambre de Luxe Prestige à177€(gain bonus Hôtel.com) Le luxe n est que dans le prix,j ai demandé à changer de chambre (5 à 6)car pas de chauffage salle de bains,radiateur porte serviette hors service « eh oui Madame c est compliqué de chauffer un vieux château . »,réponse à l accueil (3 personnes très hésitantes) Bref,chambre 6,même catégorie 170€,climatisation + que douteuse et défectueuse,aucun chauffage,j ai dû dormir toute habillée avec 1 couverture par dessus la couette;radiateur sdb :4 rangs chauffants dans le bas De plus,envahie de coccinelles orange s( par Clim visiblement) Aucun peignoir alors qu il est bien mentionné Concernant l autre chambre jaune prestige,elle n existe pas,photos non contractuelles du site Et également belle coulure de Clim !!A CE TARIF,c est HONTEUX !! Si les services n y sont pas,,on ne vend pas,on retire du site Merci de me rembourser la nuit cadeau que j ai perdu et faites passer le service des fraudes!!!

Schönes altes Schloss (ohne 👻) schade! Liegt in einem schönen Park, gut für Hundebesitzer. Hunde freundlich. Aber leider keine Mülleimer beim Hotel. Gute möglichkeiten zum Parken. Freundliches Personal.

Le séjour en famille que nous avons passé au Castel Novel était très agréable. L’environnement et le bâtiment sont magnifiques. Le moins de notre nuit réside dans le manque de modernité de la salle de bain qui pourrait être rénové tout en gardant le style châtelain des chambres au prix de la chambre on s’attend à mieux. Quand au petit déjeuner, franchement éviter à 20€ par adulte c’est vraiment décevant. Si c’était à refaire nous ne le prendrions pas. La piscine est sympa et le parc magnifique. Nous n’avons pas tester le restaurant mais il a très bonne réputation.

We reserved at Castel Novel and also had made a restaurant booking on a Monday evening (confirmed by email) hoping to enjoy the tasting menu on offer. Unfortunately we were informed that the restaurant wasn’t open on Mondays and were directed to a nearby restaurant (La Caleche in Varetz). Sadly the offer was very different to what we were expecting as instead of a fine dining experience, we had to choose from the table d’hôte menu made of: - Steak Haché /Frites - Fish and chips - Galette complete (Ham and egg) - Dish of the day (they ran out so I couldn’t try) Followed by: Tiramisu, Creme Brûlée, Ice Cream or Tarte aux noix. If you ask from sauces, please make sure that you check the use by date, the mustard sachets from the pot were out of date. What a disappointment!!! If I knew I will have booked another establishment for our last fine dining experience. The hotel itself still very pleasant despite finding in the corridor when we checked in our room: linen bags and rubbishes not to mention the 2 buckets collecting water from the celling (this is only a maintenance issue that cannot be hold agains the premises). I am very surprised that the restaurant is closed on Mondays during July and August as I am sure the 30 odds guests who stayed that night will have dine at Castel Novel restaurant. In another hand, the receptionist was very pro active and eased our stay with professionalism.

Great value! Staff were very welcoming and made a great effort to speak English. We got a full history of the castle. Room a little tight to get from one side to the other but for €55 we are not complaining. Very pet friendly. We wish we could’ve spent longer to enjoy the pool, tennis and beautiful grounds. The evening meal was a little disappointing, great presentation but not much flavour. Breakfast food was good quality. €20 covers the quality however more variety would have been nice. We will highly recommend this lovely place with its lovely staff

A lovely overnight in a real castle in the Correze

A very pleasant overnight stay between two days of driving, including a lovely dinner. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, bed was very comfortable, shower was good. Staff were great, too.

Magnifique Château, un endroit idyllique et très bel accueil. Un petit bémol dans la chambre ce sont deux matelas reliés qui laissent un trou au milieu… Dernier point, le monsieur du petit déjeuner n’est pas très agréable, pas souriant je lui ai demandé gentiment s’il serait possible d’avoir des viennoiseries ( panier vide à notre arrivée) et il m’a répondu c’est prévu mais cela ne va pas arriver dans les 10 secondes. Très surpris du ton de cette réponse mais fatigué je n’ai pas voulu réagir.

Mais quel incroyable château !

Mais quel incroyable château au milieu de la Corrèze dans un immense parc. Colette a vécu ici avec son mari et on sent encore les effluves de son talent alors que l'hôtel a récemment été rénové. Les chambres son grands et confortables même si la literie est un peu molle. Le restaurant est tout simplement excellent ! Seul bémol : le petit déjeuner est un peu cher.
