Great swimming pool where I could swim laps. Quiet even though the place was full. Friendly staff. Some of the breakfast food was gone by the time we got there at 9:50 but it was a bust place.

Beautiful relaxing stay!

Our stay was lovely we did have a fantastic time the hotel was beautiful and the pool was so lovely to relax in with a hot tub, steam room and sauna. We visited in December and the temperature of the pool was a little chilly but it was absolutely fine. We also only had one dinner which was in the restaurant, at the time of visiting there were renovations happening so it was the only restaurant available. I have a few allergies so the options were very limited but I managed to get something and it tasted amazing.

Receptionist excellent got to our room early. Carpet tatty, very worn coming away from the edges. Entry to waterfront bar had to queue for 20 mins to get a drink as they were doing food, got cocktails one was undrinkable , alarm went off for 90 seconds at 04.04 for 90 seconds. Breakfast was excellent. Poor value overall.

Lovely Hotel but the room was not cleaned properly there was a previous guests socks lying under the curtain. The staff were pleasant but when advised that the room was not clean they never done anything to make the stay more worth while.

Got married here 21 years ago. Nice to come back. Room was spacious and great view of lake and golf course. Only issue was heating not working properly. Ava at front desk was great and turned the negative to a positive as good customer service should be. Sent us portable heater and bottle of wine. Thanks :-)

Extra ordinary staff and exceptional location

The stay was for 3 nights which were exceptional in relation to the staff, food and environment. I don’t know who trains the staff at the hotel but they do an amazing job. It was also great as an electric driver to have two EV chargers at the hotel. It is clear that the guests needs are thought about. I went to Sligo fir two nights following where the hotel and staff were so poor i left after one night. I will definitely return.

Unaccommodating Hotel

First and last time. Dinner finished at 20.30, checked in at 20.50 restaurant was still serving main course. Asked at bar if they could at least do a sandwich, was offered two pieces of bread and sachet butter to put the crisps in I had just bought - disgusted at how unaccommodating the kitchen and staff were after a long day of travelling. As a frequent traveller, I would never stay at this hotel again

Disappointing

Cant understand the recent 10/10 reviews. Property felt like a soleless business hotel. Lots of events taking place through the day attended by non-guests. Very busy feel between this and members to the spa. The room was clean, but the view of a roof and ventilation shafts not really what id expect of one of the nicer rooms. There was drilling work going on late into the evening. I had to go down to reception to resolve and was kept waiting roughly 45mins. The manager was very apologetic and comped us a bottle of wine which i really appreciated. But ultimately I wouldnt ever stay here again.
