Although a little run down, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was simple, but very good. The owner and the one staff person were very friendly and helpful. There was sufficient parking and good access to the bus to go into the city center.

Good place

Place is fine to stay if you’re just using it as a bed or base for going into the city centre/murrayfield. Very easy to get to. The Asian man at the front is very nice and helpful. Only issue I had was the water pressure of the shower, it’s very weak. Aside from that, happy to stay there again

Very good location. Bus stops right outside. Enjoyed my morning breakfast. All in all enjoyed my stay. Ill agree with other reviews and say the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours and they you, so be mindful of that when staying.

The staff makes the Twin Lions a nice place to stay. Also I made a mistake and book a night for two rooms while by myself and left me homeless for the second night after I arrived, Second night after 4 nights. They accommodated me no questions ask and it was my fault. Next time in Edinburgh I am staying at the Twin Lions. Besides breakfast is good!!!

Manager was nice and helpful and overall property was clean. We could hear a lot of noise during the night and sounded like someone was being sick. TV didn't work properly and missing lights, We had a double room which was ok for the one night we stayed, however shower was very small with a high step in. This was definitely a B&B, not a hotel and should be priced as such.

Reaonable.and comfortable.

A nice stay, the service was excellent and very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean including the en-suite. However it was bit cramped I believe they must have added the en-suite. The overall decor was a bit jaded but ok. The breakfast was well cooked and served quickly maybe a decent coffee machine would enhance the breakfast. However I would recommend this hotel for a short stay Edinburgh Zoo was 10 minutes walk and pubs restaurants just a little bit further.

Very basic and in need of a refurbishment as was very old fashioned. Was kept awake with people talking all night downstairs. Shower wasn’t working very well. Was ok for a bed for the night.
