Had a ‘prestige’ room at the front with a balcony. Huge bed, high ceilings, a really lovely room in a really lovely hotel, full of character. Very helpful and pleasant staff, and I had a great breakfast. Basically a matter of metres away from the beach and all Viareggio’s wonderful beachside cafes/bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay at the Marchionni again.

The air conditioning barely works. They only change the towels every second day and if you don't remind them they won't change. No wifi on our floor, apparently it was down all week. The breakfast offering was very limited and very poor ingredients/food. I would not recommend it. Parking in this area is a complete nightmare.

Lift not working… this is not acceptable with a pregnant wife! Really bad condition of the building. The rooms are very clean. But the building is really breaking apart.

The parking is 10 euros per day so a one-night stay is 20 euros. Very misleading. There is no place to unload the luggage as the one spot was taken by the hotel car. There is no pool, the "pool" is a fountain from the town.

Can’t recommend a stay here

Can’t recommend a stay here. The only upside is that the hotel is situated close to the nice promenade by the beach. There are only private beaches and sun beds for one day cost around 25€. The hotel will charge around 3€ more if a voucher is bought there. No beach bar available as stated in the hotel information. Towels are only changed every third day even if a sign in the bathroom states that the towels are changed if they are placed on the floor. Very confusing. Leaking shower door so a puddle of water on the floor after each shower. Cockroaches in the room. Available staff when checking in couldn’t speak English, caused unnecessary uncertainties. Staff claimed that city tax should be paid every day, think that it is more correct to charge this tax for the amount of nights.

Hotel storico nel centro della città. Scamperà senz’altro da riqualificare non tanto negli arredi ma negli impianti e finiture. Cuscini altissimi e materasso mollissimo. Alcune parti degli spazi comuni più curate di altre. Colazione ottima e personale attento. Nelle vicinanze assenza di parcheggi gratuiti.

Pulizia nella norma, molto carente la manutenzione della camera( asse del vater non fissata, box doccia che perde allagando il bagno) nonostante la comunicazione al personale.

Marchionni er et gammelt herskapelig hotell med store rom. Noe utdatert og slitt, men veldig sjarmerende om man kan se for seg hvordan det var i gamle dager. Nydelig beliggenhet rett på stranden, vær oppmerksom på å betale mellom 40-70€ for en familie hos de forskjellige «beach club». Anbefales for sin beliggenhet med gangavstand til alt det viktigste.

Letti con materassi comodi, in generale stanza obsoleta, condizionatore che perde acqua, lavandino in bagno che non scarica bene. Cucina tutto sommato gradevole eccezion fatta per alcuni piatti in cui era evidente che i prodotti usati erano low cost, ad esempio una pasta con pesto con quest'ultimo marca smart di un noto supermarket. Posizione vicinissima al viale lungomare, ma non vicinissima alle spiaggie libere. In conclusione, in relazione al prezzo do una sufficienza sia al servizio che alla vacanza, la struttura ha del potenziale.

Hotellet var slitent men rent, personalet var fantastisk hjelpsomme. Alt i alt ett flott opphold. Hotellet ligger rett ved strandpromenaden og har utsikt fra balkong til vannet. Den over 100 år gamle heisen var kjempefin og ett artig innslag.

Douche van warm naar koud als je aan het douchen bent. Airco gaat snel uit dus heel warm in de kamer. Enige voordeel is dichtbij de betaalde, let wel betaalde strand bedden. Als je zelf op het strand wilt liggen zonder te moeten betalen dan moet je 4 km lopen.
