The hotel is a little in need of some renovations but I would stay here again. It has everything you need and the staff are fabulous. Dining options are a short walk away and there are a lot of great choices. Lots of green spaces and walking into the centre of town is about 30 minutes.

A well-located hotel, around a 25-minute walk from the central attractions. The trade-off is that it is an older building and everything is quite cramped, from the single lift that would struggle to accommodate more than 2 people to the size of the room and en-suite, which has most things you need (though no coffee-making facilities) - mostly within arms reach! A balcony was a plus given the size of the room, but although it had a table and chairs, it seemed otherwise somewhat uncared for. On a euros-per-square-foot basis, it was pretty expensive, but that seems to be the way with major European cities these days. Staff are efficient and friendly, breakfast is decent (though could perhaps be a little more varied each day) so overall it was good, but not great.

The hotel was a bit out of the way from the main attractions in Milan but still within walking distance and good access to transportation. The hotel is nice but the walls are thin. The breakfast is typical continental variety but Mateo makes a great cappuccino and always makes you feel welcome.

The staff was exemplary but the accommodations were underwhelming. They told us we were given an upgrade so I cannot imagine what our original room was like. The room had two twin beds put together, side tables and one folding wooden chair in the corner. Definitely disappointed from what I saw online when reserving. I felt like it was in a hostile. Beautiful staircase. Outdoor seating area was horrible. Dirty with all kinds of stuff just laying around. Inside the halls were very worn down with marks all over the walls. Again, staff was exemplary but accommodations were lackluster and very disappointing. Also, again, our room was a “upgrade” from a “standard” room. I can’t imagine what that room was like.

Great option for Milan

This place feels like you're staying in a top-notch hotel from the past. It's old and it hasn't modernized too much because it doesn't need to, it has charm and feels comfortable as it is. The breakfast is great and the service at reception and in the restaurant is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is only a few mins walk from the park. The room was a little small and the shower was slightly oddly placed but that's all
