Very basic accommodation. Small room (bordering a hostel) with no meaningful amenities. Would recommend for a single night stay in a pinch.

A., the receptionist, provided me with the protection of his gaze while I reached safety at Kings Cross. The place is what you get under a certain amount. Both receptionists were lovely. Would book again.

I loved this stay! Its small but it has just what you need and it’s cozy & historical to boot! They refreshed our sheets and utilities each day and we ended up extending our stay twice a bit last minute and they kindly accommodated. Also, it’s by Kings Cross station so it’s easy transportation and a short walk to Camden market! I will stay here again :) -Kate

Property is really loud and rundown and probably violates the health codes. We stayed for 2 nights with the family. At night, people on the street hanging out and cursing and fighting, we couldnt sleep. The only things positive about this hotel is the friendly staff Deana and Davi. Also, it is in walking distance to St Pancras/Kings Cross Train Station and restaurants.

Perfect title for this sweet little hotel

This hotel reminds of the older *pension* style places in Eastern European and Scandinavian countries. This is a positive thing for me; no, they are not big rooms. But all the comforts are there. My room was small but the bed was really comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Wifi was a 9 out of 10, but that is higher than other places I have stayed; there wasn't really a time I couldn't get online and find info I needed. I would definitely recommend the place and happy to have found it.

everything was great except. we had a two twin bedroom and there was only space for one luggage. thats my only complaint as i had no where to sit it except for the bed.great location. super clean. the receptionist were so nice and welcoming, they stuck out to me on their friendliness.

2/10 Poor

Awful room, overpriced for a shared toilet and shared shower, had flying bugs inside the room, annoying reception not cooperative and impossible to explain anything for them, toilet was not clean, stains over bedsheet

Staff was very friendly to lend me a power adapter. Great location and easy transportation to tube. Toilet cover a bit loose and I fixed it. The power socket locations are not convenient for me charging the electronics.

I cannot recommend this place. There weren’t even soap in the bathroom or bath products in the shower room. It was unclean, even the walls were scuffed to point to looking dirty.

Never Again!

The experience was very bad. The exhaust fan in the bathroom needed to be replaced. The shower drain had to be drained because the water was gathering in the stall. The service was mediocre.

2/10 Poor

The staff was very friendly but they hotel cleaning was horrible. The mouse room #2 was stinky, the bathroom was so dirty and the shower was clogged and the worthless the shower curtain was extremely stinky. We buy some detergent to do something but It did not work. It was a disaster. Please your cleaning system needs to improve. Don’t ruin your vacation by staying in this place.

No clean towels, locked outside, STOLE my perfume

This was really disappointing. The hotel didn't provide clean towels every day, they locked us outside the hotel around 9 pm for half an hour because the staff were on a 5 min break - I called in and they hang up on me. Worse of all, they went through my suitcase and stole a brand new Dolce & Gabbana perfume flask.

Ok but disgusting facilities

Well, three nights in this hotel are fine, especially for a weekend as a solo traveller. But I’m sorry for them who will be there more than three nights. Let’s talk about toilets and bathrooms, they are not at the level of good hygiene… For example, when I have to go to a toilet, I need to go out of my room first. One day when I went to a toilet, I saw a sh*t on the toilet, I flushed it but it wasn’t flushed away… The shower is too small, it works the same way as toilets, you have to go out of your room. The cleaning service is reliable anyway but the toilets are horribly disgusting! No towels in the toilets, how can it be like this? I’m sorry but this hotel needs to be improved. The good thing is that this hotel is close King’s Cross Station.

The area that the hotel was in was great for accessing the underground and both St Pancras and Euston Stations. Lots of places to eat close by. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was filthy, the bed sheets were dirty, the bathroom was mouldy, the door wouldn't lock properly. I booked a family room which was in the basement with narrow stairs which was challenging to navigate with large suitcases. There was holes in the walls with exposed electrical wires which was scary with young children. This room would not have met health and safety standards, I have taken photos which i will happily share if requested. There was also strong smells of cigarette and marijuana. There were 2 towels in the room, when we requested more as we're a family of 4 we were told that the person working there didn't know where they were and would request extra towels the following day. This was at 5pm and we had just flown in from Australia. Staff were also not helpful in my request to change room. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and would like to discuss this further with either the hotel ot Wotif.

Avoid this place!!!

We will never book with Hotels.com again! The fact that you would put your name on a booking at this hotel is astounding. There was mold in the shower, The beds were no better than cots . They didn’t even have a box springs, only a low to the ground frame and a very thin mattress. The “double” bed was not even a standard double. I have a weak hip and I could barely get up from the bed with it being so low to the floor. There was no shampoo and the soap was unwrapped and very unhygienic. The bath towels were the thinnest I have ever seen and we had no washcloths at all. The bathroom was so small that my husband literally had to stand outside the bathroom door to brush his teeth. The area felt unsafe. There was no A/C so we had to keep our window open. At 4am there were two people fighting outside our window. It was very frightening . On the second night, we came back to the room and the front door to the reception area and we had to wait outside on the street for about 10 minutes. All in all it was a miserable stay and I’m so sorry I wasted our part of our vacation budget on this dump
