Courtyard Marriott Malacca, despite being a relatively new hotel, less than 6 months old, could benefit from some improvements, particularly in terms of its customer service, specifically within the housekeeping and breakfast departments. During our 5-days stay, we noticed that the hotel's service was inconsistent, especially during the less busy nights when the housekeeping staff seemed unresponsive. However, during weekends, they were somewhat bothersome. As for the breakfast experience, the staff appeared to be more proactive when the hotel was busier or when their managers were around. Unfortunately, the breakfast menu itself didn't offer a wide variety of choices.
In order to enhance the overall guest experience, it would be beneficial for the Courtyard Marriott Malacca to focus on addressing these areas of concern. By improving the responsiveness and consistency of their housekeeping services and enhancing the breakfast menu, the hotel can ensure that guests enjoy a pleasant and memorable stay.
