Wonderful and helpful staff. clean hotel. A little out of the way from the rest of the action in Dubia. There was a small TV, but the room was comfortable. Ethiad Museum was in walking distance, some good food options nearby, and supermarket right next door.

Nice hotel, I requested early check-in and it was accommodated by the front line staff. Spacious rooms and facilities. Swimming pool and gym. Some nearby restaurants Walkable distance and small malls. Shuttle service is only twice a day morning and afternoon one way only. Also there was return shuttle to Dubai Mall which was good for day out and shopping. La Mer beach is only 10 mind taxi ride. Local taxi are cheaper and meter starting from AED 5 . I mostly took taxi as no metro nearby. Overall great experience and beautiful rooftop views and ambience.

Room 226, rear of building but two floors above the nightly disco from 11pm to 3.30am. thumping sounds and couldn't sleep at these times. Also everything leaked in the room, soaking wet floors, plugged showers.

The hotel is tired and needs a good revamp. The staff were slow. I was ignored at least twice when trying to gain assistance. The reception staff were rude with one lady holding up her hand, answering the phone whilst mid check in. The shower water was cold, there was ash all over the floor (even though my room was apparently non-smoking). This is not a 4 star hotel.

Our stay was completely to your liking. Nice and welcoming staff. Satisfy every wish. Very kind. This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and we are very satisfied. In terms of facilities, I do have some comments such as: the shower tap that did not work optimally and the bath in my daughter's room did not work. Although we assumed that it would be resolved if we complained about it. We were outside more than inside so we left it that way. We always got a very clean and tidy tidy room on return. We also enjoyed the pool. We will definitely choose Mercure again. Thanks to all staff. Greetings from the Netherlands.

location was a bit out of the way, particularly for the evenings, especially as a solo traveler, outside seating area to the front of the hotel could be more purposeful, personal for hotel guests - pool was too small with limited seats and towels - they were actually cleaning the dirt from the pool tiles with both a scrubbing brush and metal brush whilst pool was still in use!!! having approached the reception manager about this, who then attended with me to see this, the pool was then cordoned off for approx twenty minutes whilst the filters were cleaned. even though my name and room number were taken, nothing ever came of this!!! i did NOT use the pool again after this. the room was ample but, the musty/damp smell was awful, to the point that although hot at night i had to open the window !!! having spoken to other guests - my room was not the only one like this. breakfast was good, varied and staff were both helpful and accessible. the 'free' shuttle service to both the beach and the Dubai mall, only ran one way!!! which i find bizarre !!!! if you rely on airplane mode on your phone then taxi's back can be a problem to source!!!

From the point of arrival all staff were very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed a lovely upgrade in room type, which is always a lovely surprise and treat. I ate at the hotel and found the food to be of good quality and well priced. A particular mention to Preeti on reception, who’s smile lights up reception.
