Stayed in the church view suite. Booked last minute and recieved a warm and welcoming phone call with all check in information. Room is absolutely stunning no matter what the occasion.

8/10 Very good

The hotel and our room was great but the lift was out of order. I didn’t like that there were no staff and the breakfast was self serve with no dining room or area to sit and eat.

Didn’t receive codes prior to enter but once contacted they sent them … very clean, spacious rooms, comfortable… hard to fill kettle due to small sink and no plug to wet shave Breakfast room well equipped

It is the first time I have booked a hotel without a front reception and you receive a code and it was all great and the rooms were clean and lovely.

Comfortable stay

The room I had was finished to a very high standard with some nice touches you'd only expect to find in much higher priced hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic 1 night stay

Extremely clean, very modern lovely hotel. Big rooms great walk in shower and a big smart TV. Self check-in which we actually like. Room service from a nearby sister hotel which we didn't try but the menu does look very nice.

Hotel was fab, and unique with lovely lighting in shower and room ! Welcoming balloons and roses on bed was a lovely gesture for my golden wedding anniversary !! Wasn’t easy to find hotel but well worth the stay there

Very Modern hotel

I have stayed at this hotel before and it is very modern in an old building. Feels strange with no reception but everything went well. Room is very modern and clean and tidy. Was very warm so had to have the windows open which there was noise from outside as it seem that kids meet outside in the car park!!! No trouble though. Breakfast room is a great addition and unexpected. Parking is very reasonable £4 for 24 hours but wouldn’t want to stay in Boston center for that long. Had a Thai meals across the square and that was wonderful. Overall I would recommend if passing through

If you have bird phobia don’t stay

I have a huge bird phobia, I was not warned that there would be giant birds in my shower looking at me. I can’t even ask to move as there is no reception and now I’m stuck with the bird just looking at me, staring and making me think he may kill me.

Overnight in Lincoln. The property is directly beside the Cathedral. Car parking is fenced at the front of the property. It’s a keyless system. Text gives you access to let yourself in. Very clean and quiet with locks on your bedroom door. Feels very comfortable

Nice place , shame about lack of reception

Only one thing that lets this lovely place down is the fact that there is no reception and check in was terrible. We had to wait while somebody came to the property to let us in and give us a code for the door which we should have had prior to arrival.

6/10 Good

Glamorous but needs air on.

The hotel is hard to find with the dead ends which seem prevalent in Boston. The hotel is lovely. If you like lots of marble and led lighting it will suit. The room however, was sauna hot and the open window at the back of the hotel ment we were awoken at 5.30am on a Sunday.

4/10 Fair

27c Room

When entered the hot, its hot. No windows were open. The only window available was tiny, the blind had to be held up with a pole. The toilet is right next to the wall, have to sit side on. Definitely a room to avoid in the summer as it on the top floor and windows are facing south east. A green house has more ventilation. With so much money spent on the decor throughout the building, a cheap fan isn't going to be any help what so ever.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel is clean, modern and excellently presented and very good value for money. The only 2 negatives are that the lift is not yet operational and that there is no personal contact with staff (everything is via phone, text, or intercom). Ordering room service proved to be a pain and we went out instead.

Business trip one night

I stayed one night, it is a fabulous building that has been modernised and revamped to a very high standard, it's is right in the centre of Boston with on site parking at £4 for 24 hours. Whilst not 'manned' the telephone was answered quickly and instructions including a map and how to gain access/breakfast etc was sent over immediately. I struggled to find it via sat nav but the link worked well. I required assistance with my case and help arrived at the agreed time - I loved the hotel, it would have been nice to have had food available but the hotel that delivers was showing as closed on the app. I ventured out but didn't feel happy about the locality and contacted the police due to some anti social behaviour in the market square. The hotel and staff were fab, shame about the lack of policing in the centre but this is a sign of the times unfortunately

8/10 Very good

Hotel on the whole very good. Boston itself, not so good. I wouldn't return. Hotel is very central, although very confusing to get to. Lots of silly one ways, and dead ends. Completely automated system, no staff on site. Just codes to come and go as you please. Room was ok, some nice touches for that modern feel. Neons etc! But a little disappointed In the executive suite. Just book a room. Your paying extra for a sofa basically. Ironically the smart TV was very big. But useless and not very smart, as it's not connected to the internet. I tried to connect myself, but I was unsuccessful. Beds were comfy and the hotel very clean. The staff I spoke to via ring doorbell and phone all polite and very helpful. Would definitely use the company again for a stay. Just not in Boston.

History and the WOW ! Factor in one

Taking its cue from Air BnB , this is a hotel with no Front of House staff and you get sent an access code that works for the front door and your room. Right from the start you feel that it is going to be different. With a private carpark, accessed via the No Through Road off Market Place, you are in a courtyard with two impressive stone Gothic Revival buildings - the old Sessions House (1841) and the matching County Hall of 1927 - which now houses the hotel. Having entered your key code, the doors glide open and you enter a different world. The finishes are amazing - like a high end London hotel, with floors of black marble flashed with gold and large modern chandeliers lighting the void above a stately double branched staircase that takes you up to the rooms on the first and second floors. The room really was an experience in itself - with smart lighting effects everywhere (you can turn them off - and change the colours). The en-suite was designed as a semi-wet room with a walk-in shower integrated into the floor and a wildlife graphic covering the shower wall. There was a breakfast bar-style desk with the usual supplies and modern double glazed windows have been fitted inside the old window recesses, leaving the historic exterior windows undisturbed. A huge amount of thought appears to have gone into the design, giving a room that is well-insulated, easy to maintain (no carpeting) and fun!. Across the courtyard is The Stump (church) and the old town.
