We really enjoyed our stay at Luna Lughente. The views are beautiful and interesting. We loved the room and the large patio. We looked forward to having free breakfast each morning. The coffee machine made delicious cappuccinos and hot chocolate. The pool was beautiful and the hotel was nice. Even though there were plenty of guests, it was so quiet. Hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. The lady at the front that did our check in was nice and very helpful. She made me feel better about visiting Italy for the first time. I hope we can come back here some day. Our vacation was wonderful and everything we hoped for and more! Thank you

Beautiful hotel with attentive staff

We stayed at this hotel in a suite at short notice, having moved from a hotel we booked which was very disappointing. Our room was clean and well presented from a design point of view. The shower was powerful and hot, and the views from our room and from the hotel in general (infinity pool area and the bar/restaurant area) are nothing less than spectacular, day and night. The receptionist when we arrived was so friendly and helpful, and the staff in general were very attentive. The restaurant is nice, although I thought that some attention to detail was lacking, such as no salt and pepper offered with the food, no olive oil or balsamic with the bread, that kind of thing. My steak was a bit tough, which does happen, but the waiter was very apologetic, and I noted that our bottle of wine was taken off the bill as a result. All in all, a great stay, and an unforgettable experience at this hotel.

Le séjour s’est globalement bien passé. Sauf qu’il y avait un mariage sur place et nous n’avons pas accès ni au bar ni au facilité de l’hôtel pendant la réception des mariés qui a duré toute une journée. Nous avons demandé une solution à l’hôtel qu’il ne nous en a pas apporté. Très déçu du service client.

Good hotel, bad breakfast

The hotel in good condition with amazing views and great infinity pool. However, breakfast was awful, with cold food (scrambled eggs or bacon).EVERY DAY THE SAME for six days we stayed there. Optional dinner overpriced and with small portions. You must have a car as the hotel is located outside Olbia with very limited public transport.

Not a four star hotel.

We are a family of four who stayed at Luna Lughente, advertised as a 4-star hotel, but the experience fell far short. Positives: The pool is large, clean and great for kids. The hotel itself is clean, rooms are decent, and views from the pool and café are lovely (though beds and pillows were uncomfortably hard). Parking is plentiful, it’s quiet at night, and beach towels/umbrellas are provided. A few staff stood out as genuinely friendly and helpful, especially at reception and in the café, and cleaning staff were excellent. Breakfast was decent and dinners varied. Negatives: Service in the café was shockingly poor—staff rarely greeted guests, made us feel unwelcome, and were unhelpful. Coffee options (breakfast) were limited to a poor-quality machine, and food quality at lunch was disappointing (including undercooked chicken in a salad). Staff scolded my wife and kids for sitting at the “wrong” table despite it being quiet, and lunch service was very slow, with other guests also complaining. I was even told off for using the main door instead of the revolving one. Reception staff (beyond one or two exceptions) were unhelpful, offering only a generic restaurant list and refusing to make reservations. Many staff spoke little English, making communication difficult, and Italian-speaking guests were clearly given better treatment. Overall, poor service overshadowed the hotel’s positives, and I cannot recommend staying here.

Vue incroyable depuis la piscine et toit de l hôtel. En revanche personnel peu souriant. Pas forcément à l écoute des clients. Avons eu un pb de drap et attendons toujours un retour…..restaurant bon mais pas ouf. pas forcément ce que l on attend d un 4 étoiles. Dommage.

El primer día el acondicionador de aire no abastecía, me contacté con Expedia y no dieron nonysolucio ni respuesta. En el hotel me indicaron que no tenían otra habitación disponible, por lo que pedí que me cambiaran de hotel, y me dijeron que no era factible. Superbe expérience pour 4 nuits

Hôtel un petit peu vieillissant mais qui reste très acceptable avec un bon standing général. Le petit déjeuner est super fourni, les repas au restaurant un peu limités en portion mais avec une bonne qualité, et le service agréable (ça dépend du personnel rencontré). La piscine est superbe, définitivement le point fort de Luna Lughente, mais il manque un espace jeu un peu fourni (pourquoi pas de billard, jeux de société ?). Du reste, l'hôtel est propre et les chambres également, rien à redire sur ça. C'était plus ou moins ce qu'on attend d'un 4*, avec serviettes de plage gratuites. La vue est très jolie de la piscine mais tout un angle donne sur une zone industrielle et des travaux en cours au large de l'hôtel. J'y ai passé un bon séjour.

Nous nous sommes fiés aux notes et aux belles photos, nous avons été déçus. L'hôtel vaut définitivement le détour pour sa vue incroyable mais le service et l'accueil ne sont pas au rendez-vous. L'établissement manque de "chaleur" et donne un effet "fantôme" en dehors des heures de petit déjeuner. Le personnel n'est pas particulièrement aimable et ne fait pas en sorte que le séjour soit relaxant et paisible.

Lovely pool area with exceptional views. Nice bedrooms with decent sized bed & bathroom, cleaned daily. Good choice of food at breakfast time. Although I would recommend having another tea/coffee machine. There always seemed to be a long queue for that. Also, an option of fried eggs would’ve been nice. We had 1 issue with the manager/ staff - we were a large group of 9 people, 5 rooms in total. We got lunch from outside 1 day & they refused us permission to sit anywhere other than our rooms to eat it. I explained that we were too many people to be squeezed into 1 room but they still didn’t help. I also had my elderly mother with me which they didn’t take into consideration. I asked for any little quiet corner anywhere on the grounds that we could use but they refused. I found them to be very unaccommodating & unhelpful, even after discussing with the manager. Other than that issue, all good.

Good view and locarion with amazing pool

Very good location with a great view. Comfortable room with good space and very easy to dry clothes on balcony. Fantastic pool going from shallow to deep with a great view and always shadow somewhere. Only downside that it was easily over crowded during breakfast och there was limited seats inside or in shadow. Staff working with breakfast didn’t look happy and was most of the time stressed. Rest of staff very service minded and friendly.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Toller Ausblick, sehr freundliches Personal. Saubere Zimmer und Anlage. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir je in einem Hotel erlebt haben. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Getränke an der Bar leider sehr teuer. Ein Aperol Spritz für 10 Euro der zu 70 Prozent aus Eiswürfeln besteht zu übertrieben. Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau und eine kleine Möglichkeit sich zu verbessern. Sonst alles sehr sehr gut. Danke.
