6/10 Good

The hotel and the decor was absolutely stunning, the o lot downside was the bed was so hard we both had terrible nights sleep, and unfortunately the room they put us in was directly opposite the lift which was so noisy all night long and on the Saturday night the music from the Collins club was so loud well into the night, however the staff were very friendly and helpful, the decor was exceptional as were the room facilities and the Jean-Jacques restaurant served exceptional food

The Leinster was conveniently located and walkable to so many sights! The front desk staff, lounge staff and restaurant staff were all amazing. Room was so comfortable and perfectly decorated. The breakfast was amazing and the bar had great drinks and light bites! Can’t wait to go back

New hotel in Dublin.

Brand new hotel. The room was nicely appointed and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was compact but more than sufficient. The food at the restaurant on the top floor was very good. The only negative was the room was very small. There was minimal space between the bed and the walls and almost no place to store or hang clothes. We had to store our suitcases by the door so that we didn’t trip over them. This wasn’t a big deal for us because we were only there one night and didn’t spend much time in the room. It would be an issue for a couple staying longer who wanted to unpack.

8/10 Very good

Well-appointed, clean and comfortable

Reception staff welcoming and informative. We were not there for long, and had a busy programme; so can’t speak for breakfast, restaurant or leisure facilities. Rooms well-appointed, clean and comfortable – although less than generous in size and clothes-hanging space. Well situated near Merrion Square, an area of beautiful buildings.

I’d have liked it to be a bit closer to the shopping but otherwise it was a lovely room, nicely decorated with everything you would expect - and a Japanese toilet to boot, which was a first. The staff were friendly and informative. Overall it could not be faulted.

The Leinster

The staff on the whole were great, spoiled only by one supercilious member of the team in the bar on one evening. The room was clean modern and comfortable but very small for a king size. The electric toilet was a first, initially interesting but latterly a pain, you couldn’t move on the bathroom without the seat popping up or down every 15seconds! The hotel is well positioned for walking to the city and is in a nice quiet quiet location. We only took breakfast in the hotel which was quite ‘high end and a little overly fussy’ for us but glad it was included in the price, had it not been we would have walked a few meters down the road to an excellent more cost friendly cafe.

Stunnnnnning hotel

What a stunning hotel. The rooms are fabulous with no expense spared. Japanese toilet is definitely a highlight hahaha. the service was spot on with lovely staff on hand. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but did go up for a drink on the rooftop which again was fabulous. Great location which is quiet and surrounded by lovely Georgian town houses. Walk into the centre is not far at all. Highly recommended this place to stay and honestly you won’t have a bad thing to say about this place.

Brand new and very nice accommodations. Shower was glorious as was the high tech toilet seat! Japan has nothing on the Leinster. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood to treat yourself to a day in the city close to sights. Do ask for a regular size room as some of the smaller ones can feel a bit tight. Mine had a comfy couch but some of my fellow travelers complained about close quarters.

4/10 Fair

This is a great hotel but my ‘after check out’ experience has been far less than satisfactory. While at the hotel everything was faultless - could not have been happier. However the hotel charges (not holds) a €100 deposit they state is refunded on check out. At check out I was advised this would occur. However I was not refunded the full amount despite no consumption of any mini bar items during my stay. I have reached out to the hotel twice to seek to understand the reason and have received no response. This has really left a negative feel. It’s robbery when there is no justification for charges and no one at the hotel seems to want to liars with me. Beware!!

6/10 Good

This is a difficult review to write because there is a lot to like about this ery attractive hotel. However, the room design needs a re-think. I stayed in a Standard room (16 sqm). I like the attention paid to the appearance of the hotel generally - the lighting, the art, the patterns/colours, the wall coverings, fittings, etc. Perhaps a little too busy for some peoples' taste but clearly a lot of time/money had been spent. Where it really falls down for me is the impracticality of the room. I had a carry-on case and still there was not enough floor space to be able to lay it down and unpack things. With a larger, checked in case, it would have been been even worse. The drawer unit is full of luxurious touches, but I don't think these should be prioritised over the practical necessity of unpacking a case, which virtually everybody will need to do. A lot of space is taken up with a generous mini bar selection, snack selection, cocktail shaker (!?) etc. These things would be great in a larger room. A photo shows that I couldn't even open the drawers fully with the stools in their positions. The staff were all great. There was no safe in the room which I was surprised about. The reception offered to lock things in their safe for me - passport in my case. However, I was not given any kind of paperwork/receipt. I felt quite uneasy about this and frankly I think it leaves both the hotel and guests vulnerable in a dispute, esp if cash is involved.

Excellent staff; great intro to the hotel. The hotel didn’t catfish, it was as clean, cozy and luxurious as anticipated. I was apprehensive about the size of the room, however quite spacious. Happy I added the breakfast option to the room.

The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed the Collins Club bar and staff. The location is just perfect- we could walk to many sites and neighborhoods.
