Very well located on the mainstreet of Nipponbashi that is the heart of anime culture in Osaka. Also on walking distance from another important central location / traffic center, Namba.
Little bit further away, but still on walking distance is the Shin Sekai, and the Zoo.
The lobby area had a complimentary non-alcoholic drink bar, with infinite amounts of free drinks, like soda, coffee etc. freely available, which is a big plus. There was also actual lobby area where one could spend time at, which I don't see so much in Japan, as most lobby areas seem to be more like walkthrough area. Newspapers were available, and some sort of Oxygen chamber that looked interesting, but I did not try it..
The room was a bit worn down. Only minor complaint I could think of (but I did not bring it up with the hotel personnel) was minor hygiene details. Like the hotel table had round cup stains and such from previous guest. I made sure to have the table empty so housekeeping could clean it during their cleaning, but the same stains were still on the table even after housekeeping cleaned the room. Also there was gathered dust on the AC system surface, and at the start there was a slight smell of burned / dry dust with the AC, but that went away with use.
All in all good hotel I would revisit again for it's central location on Nipponbashi and close to Namba. Good small details like the complimentary drinks, actual lounge area , and so forth.
