Great home base in Bangkok

The hotel was well located, well appointed and, well, wonderful. Suriya, the concierge, was very helpful in planning our days. We enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner at Otto. We were surprised the jacuzzi was not, in fact, a hot tub, though the location and the pool were lovely. It was not a long walk to the sky train and there were lots of local restaurants and massage places.

Well I frankly would not consider this place as a true 5 star hotel! The service is decent but definitely nothing like a real five star hotel, some hidden charges may happen like if you stain some of their towels with make up which was unexpected for me! The pool is amazing but no changing place, don’t really have a true spa and the gym is very small! But of course the room is spacious but the bathroom is a bit dangerous as the tubs are very high, not a good idea for fall risk guests, and the drain maybe older hence the bathtub drain doesn’t flow well, often gets a bit clogged! So probably won’t stay next time as we had a tremendous experience in Conrad Bangkok and the price difference was not significant!!

Affordable luxury in a hi-so location

Staying in Akyra Thong Lo with my family was an overall great experience. We booked the 2-bedroom suite and the space, convenience, comfort, and service made the trip to hot and gritty Bangkok more enjoyable. The room itself needs some reconditioning of chipped paint in the drawers, and the bathrobes need replacing, but these really are minor things that don't take away much from the experience.

Two nights at Muu Hotel Bangkok

Muu Bangkok is excellent hotel. All the five stars are well earned. Signature breakfast is one of the best I have ever had. Hotel has a good location at Sukhumvit area and it is still very peaceful. Staff is very professional and kind. Everything worked easily and with respect. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will sure come back again.

Staff was so friendly and so accommodating! Concierge Ya was so helpful with information. Breakfast had so many options. The rooftop pool was so nice and clean. The only issue was the location of this is in a busy area and it was a bit far from the street markets and downtown but transportation was affordable so it wasn’t an issue.

Staff are very friendly, attentive and efficient. I was arriving the hotel at 2am, the 24-hour reception provided me with a very nice experience. Staff also proactively provides assistance to the guests. I was leaving for the airport at 10pm and the staff offered us a place for shower and changing before we went to the airport. This was very impressive to me. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast provided a wide choice of food. The hotel offers transfer service to the Thonglor BTS. There is also a 24-hour supermarket just next to the hotel. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

Fantastic stay. Service excellent. Upgraded fr Deluxe Rm to Suite - Rm 903. V spacious / clean. Modern int design. Only knocks: 1/ distance fr bed to bath far. Almost woke me going there/ back. 2/ lack silverware? Cups/plates yes. 3/ too many light switches. Due to size/design of suite. 4/ Shower/bath design. Can’t turn on water first to fill the tub given the fixed half shower door. 5/ towel quality avg. 6/ Toilet Paper access inconvenient. 7/ BR window view not best. Looks on HVAC unit. 8/ .9 km to BTS. 9/ Thai food room service could be much better. Ticky-tacky things yep. What I noticed/ liked: 1/ toilet paper high quality. 2/ bedding/mattress quality high. 3/ blackout curtains worked well. 4/ small mall adjacent has almost everything you want. Called Eight Thonglor I sampled the ThongSmith (famed boat noodles), 24 hr Thai diner in the basement (Tae Dee luk?). Was tempted w/ the Indian Masala Art, the Omakase restaurants, shabu shabu, 24 hr burger jt & Din Tai Fung. 24 hr Foodland mkt. Paul’s bakery. 5/ Great Japanese around, Marche mall, Suppanigga, El Gaucho steak. 6/ service EXCELLENT. They moved my bags in when I was rushed @ checkin. 7/ elevators fast. 8/ housekeeping unintrusive yet thorough. 9/ Easy/speedy checkin/out. 10/ motorcade for dropoff. No rain issues. Need to try spa, pool & on-site restaurants I booked early Oct w/ wife & will UG to suite & pay! Better location for Thonglor action!
