I left the hotel room after an hour. The amount of bugs on the walls and in/under the bed was shocking. If Hotels.com does not refund my money I will contest credit card charge. They should be ashamed allowing this place to advertise on this site. WOW!!

Cayuga Inn at the Finger Lakes not how it appears

Very expensive for the poor condition of hotel. Rust and mold in room and bathroom. Lock broken on door. Comfortable bed, roomy. Didn’t have breakfast— two chairs in lobby and meager offering of food. Gentleman at front desk very responsive to have repair man fix TV twice; shower faucet not labeled, trouble getting hot water.

Disappointing stay - would not recommend. Poorly cleaned, smelled musty, furniture was outdated and worn, bed was uncomfortable and linens had stains.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rates were pocket-friendly. I had a very comfortable stay and slept like a baby after so long. There are many beautiful lakes nearby. I will definitely return whenever I'm in town and I will also recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you for the service.

I would not recommend this property to be in Expedia. The carpet was sticky and dirty. The staff smoked so it smelled like smoke in the lobby, and hallways.

Unacceptable Will Never, Ever Go Back.

We had to leave this hotel, and the owner wouldn't give us a refund, but that's okay. Seems like he needs it more than me. He needs to fix that hotel. Inn needs to be torn down, it's not livable.Hotel is very dirty filthy. Smell like cat-and-dog pee, doesn't look like pictures which is online. This seems to be a place for people who need assistance DSS or the homeless, or someone who was just released from prison. I would never, ever recommend anyone to stay at this Inn.

Carpet dirty and covered in burn marks, dirty floor and walls. Hallway and lobby smell like smoke. A number of what seemed to be long term guests as well. All in all of I had any other reasonable option I would have left.

Photos are deceiving. The rooms were dirty, floor and the bathrooms were not cleaned at all.

2/10 Poor

It was absolutely gross. Dirty dirty dirty. 1 wash cloth for 2 people. Window wide open when we got to the room. Not even a blanket in the room. When went down and got towels and blankets they had holes in them. Top sheet for bottom and top. Nothing to get ice in. Not even a glass to rinse mouth after brushing our teeth. Pretty sure that the homeless are staying there. Looked like blood and urine on the wall. We asked for our money back and was told because we booked through here and not directly the hotel they would not give me the money back. Hopefully I didn’t catch anything from there. Didn’t expect a palace but The room was NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!! PROMOTING THIS ESTABLISHMENT THROUGH THIS SITE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! IWANT MY MONEY BACK AND THEN SOME!!!!
Hall way. This was like this down the entire hall!
By the window. Looked to be vomit.
Blood on the shower curtain.
This is what the bathtub looked like. Some sort of substance in the bottom.

Worst room ive ever rented

I assumed 4.7 rating was out of 5 and didnt check reviews… huge mistake, its out of 10 …. Staff was pleasant. Other than that just a disgusting dirty room, bed, furniture and common areas. Should be rated a 1 on any scale!

My stay was horrible. I was called by property owner several times while at work until 11pm... showed up and he was polite. Smoke smells in the lobby, then a key and to my room... strong Marijuana smell in the hall and there was my roo.... yikes, dark, dirty, broken window, rusty fixtures... spiders inside. I couldn't stay 2 nights. I just slept and left and will not be back. Highly recommend against the hotel.

Uncomfortable and Disappointed

Bed sheets had blood stains, bathroom floor dirty, rug not vacuumed, smelled of smoke upon arrival, roach traps visible. Worst hotel stay ever. Did not rest well.

This hotel first put us in a queen room when I reserved a king. When moved, it was into a king room. Fresh paint, (smell). The carpet was wet and did not have the amenities as advertised. There were addicts living in the motel. The room was dirty, cleaned by my husband . Would not recommend to anyone.
Vicky, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

They're at least trying.

The staff was really friendly. You can tell they're at least really trying to run an old Days Inn property themselves and turn a profit. Its hard. I get it. Its the Finger Lakes. Rich folk. Wine Country. ALL the rooms are expensive. The price of the room for what you get? Not awesome. It's a non-smoking facility, but the place smelled of cigarette smoke (the room at least didn’t). I walked to my room, and another guest was straight up smoking away down the hall. The rooms were as clean as they can be with what they’ve got. There's empty screws/nails in the walls that likely used to have art, and having a single garbage can in the main room instead of a small 2nd in the bathroom was odd. Water pressure was just okay. But, it was still the least expensive room available (under $170) for a single night near the venue I needed to travel to.

When we arrived, we immediately were concerned about the state of this hotel. It was old and not in good condition. We did check in with the manager, who was apologetic. He told us the room he had for us had had a leak from a previous situation. We checked out the room he assigned us, and there was no way we could stay there. It smelled like smoke, and the one upholstered chair in the room was stained. The rugs in the hall were old and worn. It appears this hotel might be for DSS clients? We returned to the desk and told him we could not stay in that room. He had no other rooms for us. He told us he put in for a refund on his end, but that we have to contact Expedia. I am going to do that this morning. I would not recommend this hotel for travelers.
