Excellent weekend stay

The room has everything you need i.e facilities to make hot drinks, comfy clean bed and bedding, tv, lovely shower. Quality of sleep was good. I stayed for two nights and it was suitable and adequate. Friendly staff and breakfast and dinner was good. Staff was very friendly especially friendly, I would definitely return back to The Highwayman Hotel.

The room I had for the second week running had no heating, but they did provide an electric heater which I couldn’t keep on because of the noise it made. I arrived for breakfast at 8.00 on Sunday morning with only 4 people in there and ordered immediately as I had a meeting arranged for 9.00, but by 8.35 there was still no sign of my breakfast so I had to leave. I would at the very least be compensated for the £9.00 I paid for breakfast but a little extra would be appreciated. Regards Chris Skudder
