This motel is on the run-down side. The wifi was not secure but that didn't matter because it didn't work. It was fine for one night but that's about it.

A motel that needs investment.
An empty motel in peak season was the first warning. Initial appearance on entering the room was good. A spacious well appointed bedroom kitchenette with en-suite bathroom. Lack of air conditioning. The mattress was so soft it made sleep uncomfortable.A tiny shower cubicle and a bathroom abundant in moths and black fly made me reticent to use it. We ran out of toilet paper which was so thin that we bought our own. A very friendly owner doesn’t compensate for an experience I would not like to replicate.

The check-in process was hard as there was no english-speaking person at the frontdesk. There was no heat in the room and we were charged for a room heater on top of the room payment. We were not told about this beforehand. The room had lots of bugs.

Clearly struggling
I'm not fond of being unkind to struggling a business, & this one is struggling, we were 1 of only 2 units occupied that night. Smelled a bit, the blurb in the room claimed it was their brand of sanitizer & suggested keeping windows open to lessen the odour! A bit out of town, kettle didn't work so used the microwave, toaster didn't work either! Chinese lady at reception was pleasant, but spoke no english, so very hard to recommend the welcome albeit cordial. Hard to recommend anything really, sorry.
