A bad smell made for a bad experience.
Unfortunately, the stay fell well below my expectations. My floor and room had an unpleasant smell. I was advised it had been attended too, but someone had attempted to mask the smell. Thus, my stay was spoilt and was somewhat uncomfortable.
The afternoon staff did their best. The morning shift did not contact me at all. In fairness the afternoon staff offered a room change, but by this time packing up and relocating was not a good option either.
Having paid more for a ‘quality’ hotel it left a lot to be desired.
