The property is older and perhaps outdated, but it was clean, very convenient, and the staff could not have been nicer. If you are looking for a luxurious stay, this is not the place for you, but for all others, it serves the purpose well and is conveniently located in the octagon, but not noisy.

Good city centre location

The room was a good size and the facilities for food preparation were reasonable, with microwave, kettle, fridge and so on included. Plenty of TV stations available. It was useful to have a small range of items available for breakfast in the restaurant and just pay for those as we checked out. The best thing is being so close to the city centre.

The same applies this time, but I had a room facing the street, which was very noisy, especially with students coming home from nightclubbing in the early hours. But the staff were fantastic, and I'd certainly stay again, but next time I'd ask for a room away from the street.
