Honestly, I had read some not so good feedback and did have second thoughts about making the booking. I have no idea what they were talking about. Our experience was nothing but positive. From the staff to the food, I don't have anything negative to say. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was awesome and the service was quick. The atmosphere was relaxed. Most definitely going back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day break. The resort was the cleanest we have ever stayed in and every single staff member from reception to restaurant to house keeping were super friendly...it certainly makes a difference and that's why we enjoyed it so much. The weather was atrocious but we can imagine on a beautiful day Taipa Bay Resort would be paradise.

Seen better days!

Fine for a couple of days. Well-equipped, beach view room was clean but “tired”, as was the hotel in general. Staff all courteous and helpful. Let down by the restaurant, in terms of food quality (“cooked” breakfast was tepid on second day: needed longer in the microwave!), comfort and ambience. At times it felt like eating at a rugby match, thanks to extremely noisy, largely male party of 10 trying to out-shout each other.

Property old and tired - seems like it has been given up on. Tennis court net hanging off, no balls to use, mould on court - and place generally in disrepair. Gate from porch falling off hinges. Place needs a good renovation

The property is lovely, the one thing we didn't like is they don't service the rooms, very disappointed. Ding was nothing to rave about $40 for steak and chips and steak was very grissily. Beautiful position lovely beach and view.
