5 star price. 3 star property

Property is run down and unclean. We were booked for 4 nights and left after 2. It was booked to celebrate a special moment and was terribly disappointing. Would not stay again. Would not recommend. The only positive part of the resort was the staff. They were more then amazing.

Extremely handy location

Well located apartment at the ski field. Comfortable and warm. Could hear the music from the bar outside in the next building, but it was turned down by a reasonable hour. Friendly staff.

Not a place to visit in summer

Not a great place in summer. No restaurant open the night we arrived, only a small grocery store which closes at 5pm. If we had arrived after that time there would be nothing to eat and it’s too far back down the mountain to anywhere else. The whole village pretty much closes down for repairs over summer. Saw lots of tradies. No entertainment, shops or reasonable restaurants open.

Great position and very comfortable. Great communication - they rang me to confirm checkin as I hadn’t yet rung them. My only gripe was the minibar had a half drunk bottle of Diet Coke when I arrived so I hope I don’t get charged for it. Thanks for a very comfortable stay

Great Apartment No Restaurant

Great apartment, friendly efficient reception, spa on the balcony was awesome on a cold foggy night. Unfortunately dining options were limited. The hotel's restaurant was closed and no in house bar available except for a well stocked mini bar. I understand that this is off off season as we live in a resort also however I feel this information should have been included in the booking process which stated 2 restaurants. We did have a very nice dinner at The Frying Pan but had to drive to the restaurant.

Lovely but not 5 star.

The location of this hotel is superb. The view from the room was amazing, and in winter season you are as close as possible to the main lift. Once the hotel is in full swing in winter season I’m sure it will be warmer, but our room was very cold when we arrived, and the floor heating was not working. Despite being 3 degrees outside, the room heating had not been turned on prior to our stay, so it took several hours ( overnight) for the room temperature to come up to a comfortable level. There were a few other maintenance issues that the manager assured us would be resolved before ski season starts. The manager was very pleasant and helpful and did bring us blankets when we requested them. A comfortable room for two, but the sofa bed was old, thin and uncomfortable for our daughter, and not made up properly. (It was unclear if the sheets were clean or previously slept on.). We still had a great stay, but it was not up to the standard we had expected from previous reviews. I hope these issues can be fixed up, because the location is absolutely superb and the manager was lovely.

Pleasant stay

The hotel and location were fantastic, the spa on the balcony and its view was spectacular. However the rooms bathroom was slightly run down and needs a little attention. The iron and iron board need to be replaced. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The apartment was great - spacious with a great view. But with 2 of us there the tea/coffee amenities weren’t very generous. There were only 2 ‘normal’ tea bags (sorry but earl grey and peppermint don’t count as normal to me!) and no milk. We called to ask for milk (just UHT was all we needed) and they were quick to bring it but just one cup of tea in an apartment with a full kitchen seems a little stingy to me.

Location, Location. It's all about Location.

What a magnificent location for a weekend away, albeit just after the ski season 2018. Our room had an Awesome view down Kiewa Valley and on our first nite in, the Sunset was positively amazing. Especially with a glass of wine in hand.

We loved the fact that the whole of Falls was deserted. Great trip, comfortable room and bed. Just about everything you need in the unit. We loved Mt Beauty township; managed to complete our food shopping. Met the locals and had coffee there each day, we felt very welcome. Loved Bogong, in particular down where the two creeks met right at the bottom of the village; stunning. We were lucky enough to be in th3 region when it appeared everything was in flower; gorgeous.

The resort is a very nice place to stay, with nice clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. The rooms are large and very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains

QT Falls was a great disappointment!!!

If you have ever stayed at one of the QT hotels they are usually decorated with chic and quirky furnishings, they feel luxurious, are always immaculately clean and worth every dollar spent. I can not say the same for QT Falls! The rooms were dated, cheap and nothing like what you would expect from the QT brand. The furnishings are cheap and everything is damaged, dirty and stained. Not what you would expect for how much the rooms cost. Upon research and a chat with staff we found out the hotel is not owned by QT but rather managed by QT and the difference is huge. The only redeeming quality is how close the hotel is located to the chair lift for skiing. I definitely won't be returning to QT Falls and will think twice next time I come across a QT hotel.

We absolutely LoVEd this hotel! It was our home away from home. The rooms were lovely and the community was so welcoming we never wanted to leave!

overall was a great experience. my only recommendation would be for the heaters to be switched on before arrival as it took a long time for the room to heat up. other than that all facilities were great. will definitely go back

great for weekend escape

the apartment was comfortable and clean . it was a kind of luxury to have a SPA in balcony to enjoy the mountain views and loved the bath tub in the bathroom ! heating in the bedroom and slab heating available but it was NOT working during the stay , the floor was too cold .

Good stay but...

The hotel was fine. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were pleasant but being the quiet season, the front desk not manned. There was an issue with the HWS in our room which was not addressed. The water was tepid at best. My wife mentioned it during the previous evening and the water temperature was similar the next morning. If you were staying there in winter coming in after a hard day's skiing, this would be a huge issue for most people.

8/10 Very good

Great location

Good place to stay - very few food options this time of the year, which was not reflected on the websites for the area. I paid through Wotif but was still charged by the hotel even after confirming with them that it was pre-paid. I rang them after my trip where they confirmed they had made a mistake. They committed to reversing the charge and was told I would receive an email stating so. Four days later this has still not occurred. This is the first time in 10 years plus of using Wotif that I have had this problem.
