Breakfast with a view!

Extremely friendly and helpful owners and staff. Location was fantastic. We were close to what we wanted to be near, but out of the hustle and bustle. Daily breakfast brought to your room. We ate it out on the patio- lovely! We had a couple issues regarding electricity being off for a while one morning and no hot water late in the day but there is no beating the view, location and the kind people. We would stay again without hesitation.

We loved that the hotel was in a quieter area, yet only a few steps from many restaurants to watch the sunset. The moment you walk along the pathway leading to the hotel you can't help but smile, absolutely incredible views over the caldera, even from our balcony. We felt that we didn't need to visit Fira or Oia, and that Imerovigli and Firostefani had all that we wanted. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on your own balcony. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

We had a large party of people staying at Ilioperato for a wedding. Some of the staff were very nice, but some were terrible. A review of our stay: The Good: - They give free bottles of water which is amazing - Location is very good to Imerovigli The Bad: - One of the staff members, Bruno I think his name is, is extremely rude and made everyone feel very unwelcome, he made it very clear he didnt like everyone. - Even though we had so 9 people staying, they were often reluctant to give out more than one bottle of water. - They made no extra effort for us considering we were there for a wedding. Other guests received flowers and wine for example; Ilioperato did nothing considering we spent so much money for a big occasion with them. - The cleanliness of the pool was not great, and there was an unusual smell in one of the rooms - One of the rooms also had a broken towel rail, not great attention to detail - Almost every day, they would get our breakfast orders very wrong. It was almost like they were doing it on purpose - we just had to laugh it off in the end. Ilioperato is cheap, and in a good location - but we won't be back, we will consider other options next time we're in Santorini.

Best view

Stay here for the view, one of the best in Santorini. Breakfast served in your room rather than the restaurant area, perhaps because end of season and a bit chilly in the shade first thing. Choose time and meal one day before. Food was good with a decent choice. Could have done with more coffee though. Our room had limited wardrobe space or drawers, whereas our friends room had a double wardrobe. Comunal areas were nice. We would go back again inspite of a few issues. Depending on your room, stairs down are above the room and can be noisey early in mornings or late at night.
