Far too much ambient light. I ended up buying masking tape to secure the blinds to the walls to stop the outside light from leaking in. I also covered up the light switch for the bathroom and the smoke detector as they has lights on them too.

I had read that Dayton had good, unique pizza places and asked the front desk staff if there was a local pizza place close. Marion's was right behind the hotel and it was sooo yummy. Great suggestion. There were a lot of restaurants very close to this hotel. Great location!

Outstanding 5 star staff in an average hotel.

During our 3 day stay, I had interactions with 8 different staff members. All were extremely courteous, professional, and accommodating. The included breakfast, was your average continental style, but the customer service of those preparing the breakfast was outstanding. There were areas of the building that were a little messy/dirty, but it's only because they're in the middle of renovations/remodeling. My family and I, would definitely stay here again.

The front desk rep was very professional and nice. The room was clean but it has a funny odor, like vomit. The bed and pillows were comfortable to me, but my husband thought the mattress was too hard. Towels, bathroom, shower & shower curtain were clean. Water flow was great and no problems with drainage.

The electronic key system was not functioning during my 3-day stay. That required a staff person to let me in my room each time I returned. The staff was very nice and friendly, but that was very inconvenient. The power operated window shade in my room did not operate correctly. I didn't complain about it given the burden they had with the key system malfunctioning

I had reservation for handicapped room with grab bars and raised toilet seat. Also explained difficulty with ambulation. My room was clear at end of hall furthest room from elevator. Coffee available in room with no stir stick or spoon or anything at all to stir it with.

No handicap room on check in and I had called the morning of the 15th..we were moved the next day. Handicap bathroom not accessable at all. no walk in shower--the shower seat had to be put in by hand and then collapsed during my shower. the water pressure was very low the shower/water system needs written signs. More comments to come about the 5 hours of noise from above that we endured .
